Hello, everyone!

As I said in my last post, here are more details about Gumroad and Ko-Fi.

Over the last months I realized that I don’t want to use Gumroad anymore. There are a couple of reasons for that.

▶ I don’t like the design

▶ I have more and more technical issues

▶ I don’t like the way they handle the fees

▶ I don’t feel like I’m the target audience for this service

I don’t want to say that Gumroad is bad. I just feel like it’s not for me. I kept using it because I had no good alternative. Now that Ko-Fi has a pretty solid shop system, I wanted do make the change.

I’m aware that this might be a financial risk, but it just doesn’t feel right to use Gumroad anymore. And I trust my instincts on this one.

You probably have some questions regarding this change, and I hope I can answer all of them here!

❓ When will you stop using Gumroad?

Purchases won’t be possible after 31.12.2021.

❓ What happens to packs that I already bought or will purchase this year?

You will still be able to access your packs after 31.12.2021. Only new purchases won’t be possible.

❓ What happens to Gumroad exclusive packs?

The exclusive packs will not be available anymore. If you want to buy them, please do so before 31.12.2021. I will focus on making new packs with similar themes in the future.

❓ Where can I buy your packs then?

You can buy them via my Ko-Fi shop or by becoming a patron in the Mondumarmung or Sonnenkuss tier.

Ko-Fi is a great alternative for me because I’m already using it, and it feels a lot more personal. I like that they seem to listen to feedback a lot and work on great new features for artists.

In addition to the shop, I might be using the commission function in the future. But that’s something for a later day.

Before I was setting up my Ko-Fi shop, I read the terms of service. Items with adult content are not allowed, so I was unsure about two of my themed packs. It made me realize that these packs could have been completely “family friendly” if I would have used other underwear. And I only used the more “revealing” underwear because I thought it was necessary for this type of theme (like pin-up). But I remember how restricted I felt and that’s when I decided that I don’t want to do something like this anymore. I will only use the “safer” underwear from now on that allows me to do more dynamic poses. And I think that’s what fits my style the most.

I hope that these changes won’t bother you and thanks for your support!

Have a great day and stay creative! 🌛

You go, girl! A pity about the G-Road but if they are not a fit then you must do what's best for your talents and skills. By the way, if you are worried about the 'family friendly' thing on Ko-Fi, try using the outfit Rachel Bradley uses in her sets. Unless my eyes are bad the tops and bottoms are black and cover the parts without being intrusive. Oh, and please don't excommunicate me for using another artist's references 😉.

I love the pin up pack and it would make no difference to me if the underwear was larger - after all, I use it for robots, anthro, monsters... changing the underwear in the drawing is not a problem! 👍

Oh, I love Rachel’s work! I’m always super impressed that she can move around in that underwear. :’D I think the color is not really the problem for me. I choose to wear lighter colors because it shows more details. For me the length is more important. Since I love to do shoots from different angles and in dynamic poses it’s always a struggle to keep it “family friendly”. I can’t tell how many photos I had to delete because of that, even before thinking about Ko-Fi. Thank you so much for your input. I’m very thankful for that! I guess I will try out different types of underwear and see what feels right. 😊
