80s Workout (Patreon)

Animated (non-color) project featuring an 80s-esque workout scene and an accidental onlooker. 

Summary: Male character (unnamed) walks down the hallway of his apartment building and notices music coming from a door that's cracked open. He goes to knock but ends up pushing it open slightly. He sees one of his neighbors doing various kinds of workouts and is caught in a trance. 

The animation GIF preview is in a very rough state. All of the animations will be revised and reworked. The last two loops in the scene will have some panning or a slow zoom in or out, so it's not so still. This won't be colored and the current planned level of finish will be cleaned up animations. Somewhere between revised roughs and clean line-work. Some of the animations were done in TVPaint and so they ended up coming out with a different quality as I was messing with weird brushes and tools to use in the program. I also included a light version of the story boarding I worked on before beginning any animation work.
