Honestly I get JC’s reactions to things, he has all the earmarks of cptsd. The most love he got was from his siblings, and he had to witness his brother being abused by his mother and his sister running distractions to protect both of them. I love him so much.

I’m very glad I went with majority and just followed all of the people who had seen the whole show. The amount of times that I rewound while watching this episode is insane. Hii just wanted to say that it would be a great idea to react to all the OST!! Each character has its own ost and the lyrics are related to the character itself and what they’ve been through. Is like understanding the story from every point of view.

The line "my sister, the greatest doctor in Qishan, *Wen Qing*" breaks me every single time. I could be having the best day of my life but watching that scene will always make me sob. Ep 46 is my absolute favourite, even though it hurts so much, it heals a bit too. I watch a channel on YouTube called "cinema therapy" and there's one video where they're critiquing a romantic scene from one of the twilight movies. The guys say something along the lines of "if you've done your job with the story, you don't need to tell me the characters are in love. I should be able to feel it" and that's what I feel hits so hard about the Untamed. You don't need wangxian to profess their love in words because you feel it in your bones with every look and touch. That scene a few eps before this on the steps on Jinlintai where lwj says "walking a single plank bridge into the dark isn't so bad" conveys more than "I love you" ever could. Ahhhhhhhhh! It's truly a love story for the ages! 😭💖
