Hello again! Honestly on one hand i love the whole conference scene, on the other hand i absolutely hate the fake death plot, for reasons. I am somewhat conflicted on if i should explain the whole "drunk Zishu nail thing" - because i personally immedietaly knew what was going on there. So i decided to just give an explanation to a small thing that was already explained and shown last episode, that made me understand what is going on and will maybe, or maybe not, lead you to the same conclusion! (so it's not a spoiler because we were given that information, it just seems insignifant and is easy to forget) Last Episode Wu Xi gave Zishu a red little box with medicine. This medicine is a holy elixir of Nanjiang that can keep a dying person alive for 5 days. It's never really well explained in the show but this is the elixir Wu Xi was making to keep Zishu alive. If you remove the nails all at once his miridians can't hold on, they would break, and the backlash from it would basically kill him, that's why they can't just be removed (they are kind of connected / grew into the meridians). Now the original plan to heal Zishu was for him to take that elixir after Wu Xi and another master (Wen Kexing) remove the nails, for that matter Zishu was supposed to be at his best health when this happens, and probably includes some more medical procedures / elixirs to then stabilize his meridians forever. This same box is seen opened and empty in a specific scene. I also have fun facts again: When Wen Kexing was fighting Zhao Jing he actually used those "18 moves of Quiming" that his father was known for! (i also feel like this is why Wen Kexing fights with a fan and not a sword, people might recognize him by his moves and he's also too deadly lol XD ) Another fun fact: Li Dia Kun (Scorpions actor) said that for some of his scenes he did his own make up!
