So Duan Pengju showed up in the beginning, he is the new leader of the Window of Heaven xD Also i'm not sure if it's ever gonna be explained more (i don't think so?) but when Zhao Jing said "when i picked you up" he was talking about how our Xie'er is actually from Nanjiang! (The place where Jing Beiyuan and Wu Xi are coming from to save A Xu)! Nanjiang is a place where everything is more connected to nature and they also speak a different language, and things like Shamans exist! I also have another Fun Fact: Wen Kexing and Jiang Cheng (from Untamed) have the same voice actor XD - you can mostly hear it when when Wen Kexing is angry :'D - once you hear it, you can't unhear it .... : D

Also i forgot: About the politics - as far as i can guess the martial arts world is somewhat separated, they still fall under the emperors rule but have their own hierachy and "leader" (the leader of the five lakes alliance) and the martial arts world is mostly left alone! It's mostly because they are stronger and not easy to deal with when they have people like Ye Baiyi who is literally immortal xD Prince Jin is one of a few siblings who are fighting against each other to become emperor - before they left Jing Beiyuan, Wu Xi and A Xu were working with Prince Jin to help him become emperor -> but that's all in the prequel novel "Lord Seventh"
