Hello friends!

I can't believe we've made it to the end of the Behind The Songs series! Thank you to all of you who have come along on this journey with me. I really didn't feel ready to move on from In The Waiting, but I feel like we've now given her a proper celebration and send off and you've allowed me to roll around in all my reminiscing, and now it's time to let her go! And that also means it's time to move forward and start giving some energy to my newer work, and boy is it about time because I just counted and it turns out I have 2 albums worth of songs written and none of them recorded!!

Before I forget--I recently had the honor of being a guest on my friend Nate Maingard's podcast and it's now out for your listening pleasure! We go into all sorts of personal stuff and he's just one of the loveliest humans! You can listen to it here.

Anywayyyyyy, here's the recap of BTS Episode 10.

In this episode: vulnerability = strength, what if we all actually are great exactly the way we are?!, and my secret mini poem revealed.

0:26 How does watching the "All Along" music video feel to you?

2:05 This song has only one lyric: "All along I had it all" Can you talk about what that means to you?

3:59 What is the almost inaudible spoken part at the end of the song?

Ok, that's all for now! Love you and thank you and sending lots of love!

xo

Hi Kina! Such a perfect ending to an amazing album! The poem at the end is so beautiful. you've done an awesome job at describing each song to the tiniest details. Can't wait to hear the new songs to come. ♥️

I've been waiting for that poem... And wow, it's really beautiful. It definitely sparked some emotion hearing it. Excited to see what you have in store for us with the new songs! We'll be here for it. I see my support on patreon both as gratitude for what you've already given us, but it's mostly about that YOU create whatever it is you feel inspired to, and that the world gets to see some of it. So I hope you make the new songs exactly how you want them to be and don't compare it to any of your other stuff :)

I love the poem. You should have made it an interlude on the album! <3

Kina! Words can't describe what a role model and brilliant artist you are. This album might be the single most important album to me and my life and this song has moved me so much. I'm a writer but I truly can't even express what you and your work have done to shape me into a better person. Thank you, KG. <3

That poem is really beautiful! Deceptively simple in style, but just complex enough to be deep and meaningful. I'm really not impressed with most original poetry I've heard in recent years. Most of it seems a bit petty or self-centered, too inwardly focused. (And that's coming from an introvert!) But this feels like it's looking outward and appreciating how all those beautiful things and people in the world can have such a positive influence on yourself. Concentrating on that outward beauty reflects and ends up changing the inward self for the better. That was really great! Thank you for sharing!

Hi Kina, I'm a new patron and just wanted to say Hi! I discovered your music a few days ago (actually the patreon newsletter helped with that) and am blown away. I am glad that we live in a time where we are able to connect so easily and I can support you directly. The poem in this video is so beautiful... I have to watch it again. 😄❤️

Hi Kina, from the fact that I have come round to hear this only now you can tell that I have been extremely busy during the last three months. I literally have not had a quiet moment to listen to this. Anyway, ‘the many things that make life so sweet’ have made my eyes well up with tears just before. Beautiful. These words connect strangely and wonderfully with all the things I experienced or was thinking about for this whole year. Thank you so much!
