The Xbox emails are black and white in how they want the Xbox division to proceed. Established IPs, studios and dev teams. The fact that these acquisitions are for P.Spencer as “career” moments is extremely telling, especially with them having an inside BoD to manipulate Nintendo stock. Like how the F is that not one of the biggest stories right now. Puff pieces by Tom Warren and other Xbox websites are completely glossing over the meaty parts of these leaks. Hell, Tom Warren blocked me on twitter because I called him out for not touching a LOT of the questionable and scummy things that came from the emails. Microsoft’s PR was in high gear long before Phil Spencer’s “leaked” internal memo response came out.
