Hi Tom and Tim, a couple of laptop related questions. First, what do you think of this laptop generation? Are they as lousy value as Nvidia's desktop cards? Second, do you have a phoenix laptop in without a discrete gpu? That seems to be what a lot of consumers want but I've seen no announcements or reviews.

Hi Tim and Tom! I daily drive an LGC1 48inch oled with my gaming rig and after making the jump from ultrawide I dont think I can go back. These TVs are cheaper than the majority of oled monitors and still have fantastic HDR, Gsync and 120hz. Have either of you used an OLED TV as a monitor and if so what has your experince been like? (I have used mine for 18 months and no sign of burn it at all)

As GPU prices continue to go down, it becomes more apparent that even $300 would be too much for what we expect out of the rx 7600. How do you think Amd will respond to this market?

I'm very impressed with Framework and what they are coming out with this year. What sort of market share and/or products would they need to make all laptop vendors jump on board with repairable, modular laptops?

Hey Tom and Tim, big fan of both your shows and I have greatly learned from your wisdom. Now, I've been gaming for a long time, mainly on console but switched to PCs a few years ago. One problem I've always had is discerning the difference between resolution, pixel density, and aspect ratio. I'm wondering, do you think monitor, tv, and phone screen manufacturers have taken advantage of the fact that your average consumer would not be able to tell the difference? When they see 2k or 1440p or widescreen or ultra wide or 1080x1920, on a box, most people won't tell the difference. Why can't manufactures make it a bit easier on consumers and our aging minds and just tell us it's 4k or it's not? Thank you again and proud Patron member!!

Hey Tim and Tom, Hope you're well. My question with Tim, who i'm sure get this question quite often. Do you think after all of your time testing Oled and various other panel types, that oled is still the best all around gaming monitor panel? Or do you think something else will give users a better gaming experience overall without any worry of burn in. Thank you, have a great day.

Hello Tim and Tom. Tim, thank you for all the work you put into your monitor reviews. I bought one of your recommended 4k monitors a few months ago and I couldn’t be happier with it! Well worth watching your monitor reviews for buying advice! My question is this: Do you think the monitor manufacturers will be able to reduce or even eliminate OLED burn in risk in the future?

In your opinion, what would make for the better “mid-range GPU” for the average gamer - a 12GB model with great RT performance or a 16GB model with average RT performance (other things being equal)? Let’s do the same for a “high-end GPU” - which would be better for gamers, a 16GB model with great RT performance or a 24GB model with average RT performance (other things being equal)? Personally, I’d go for more VRAM in the mid-range scenario and more RT performance in the high-end scenario as I see VRAM as more of a necessity but RT as more of a luxury - would you agree? PS To be clear, this is not intended to be an Nvidia vs AMD question.

Hello Tom and Tim, I've been thinking for a while now that Nvidia would've really had slam dunk this generation of only they would've matched AMD with vram at the same pricing tier (i.e. 4080 24gb, 4070 ti 20 gb, and 4070 16gb). I feel like with these vram amounts with the same pricing as now, there wouldn't be a real conversation as to which manufacturer's cards you should buy. Do you agree with this or is this wishful thinking on my end wishing that Nvidia wasn't stingy with vram? You guys do excellent work and I hope you continue to keep making excellent content and improve further!

Why do you think the "big 4" of motherboard vendors fail so consistently in providing well functioning software?

If you went back to being an ordinary consumer, would you be an early adopter of new PC hardware and software? To me it seems better to wait a few months at least as you can avoid the early adopter tax and also initial bugs and performance issues.

Hi Tim/Tom, I'm a graphic artist who relies on gpus to get my work done. But since I got my lg c2 oled TV, my more-than-enough Nvidia gtx 1080 has given me nothing but constant flickering issues in photoshop to the extent I'm nearly positive my next gpu will be from team red. I've been through an abundance of threads detailing this specific issue (apparently unsolved for years now) and I just have to wonder is Nvidia as committed to professional consumers as people tend to believe they are?

I belive this is because nvida cards under 30 series dont have hdmi 2.1. I had to switch from a 2070 super to 3080 ti to solve this (and retain hdr at 120hz)

Thanks for the reply. Yeah it does seem to be something to do with hdmi 2.1, I just don't understand how it only affects photoshop or why it couldn't be fixed if my games can work without the same problem

Hi Tom and Tim, as someone with an old ASUS pg27q, a 1440p 144hz monitor, would you recommend upgrading it now or is there no point in doing so yet? Are the improvements in image quality noticeable enough to warrant an upgrade? I own a PC with a 5600x and a 4070 and play mainly singleplayer games. Love the podcasts, cheers from Poland.

Do you feel like the adoption of 1440p and 4k monitors is slower than you expected? Considering how cheap monitors have become, do you feel that buying a new 1080p monitor today is 'not the best decision'? Under what conditions would you suggest buying a 1080p monitor over a 1440p monitor?

What's the point in buying a high refresh rate 4k monitor and running ray tracing on new AAA single player titles, it seems as though even a 4090 struggles to reach 60hz in these situations let alone 100hz plus in high fidelity games.

Hello Tim and Tom, Dear Tim, how come more companies havent tried to imititate Zowie's Black Frame insertion monitors? Will the tech ever get included in non-TN panels, or is there a design reason it can't be?
