This episode sees Tom & Dan heavily discuss the types of games one can miss – ones that have occupied a backlog for way too long, ones that have gotten too old to enjoy, and ones that we literally cannot play anymore due to requiring a specific console or online service that has ceased to exist.

(I decided to release this a day early for those traveling for New Year's Eve!)

Who was a kid/teen and was able to get Sega Channel?. My dad got me that and I remember the service being so spotty and at times unable to connect to the servers, but when it did connect, that was some of the coolest stuff I ever experienced as a kid.

"every 2-D sidescroller"...ah memories. LOL. Also I kept hearing "Rain Man" game and I'm like TF? Is it a game about counting toothpicks?

Good stuff I needed some good gamer talk. Though I'm not a serious gamer (more retro) It is always great when you talk about old games cuz that's my thing. Happy New Year, cheers!

Last of us was a great game and I'm looking forward to part II when I get around to it. Was more a fan of the Uncharted Series (at least so far though). There's been a lot of zombie games and less games like Uncharted lately
