Obviously this is a low for gaming hardware, but I think for games also- feels like every publisher is sitting on titles until consoles are out in bigger supply

Check my question in the discord.

I want to see that first video, too.

Are you, or have you gotten the covid vaccine?

Hardwareunboxed did an under clocking of the 6700xt vs 5700xt. Seems like no IPC game. Thoughts?

MooresLawIsDead

Not that surprised. From what I could tell months ago it seemed like the majority of the extra performance was coming from simply scaling past 40CU effectively, and then clocking it really fast. Makes the whole RDNA debate between console fanboys seem pretty silly...huh? xD

Yours truly, Johnny Dollar

You should try The Tides of History podcast. I am not sure if the earlier European renaissance stuff is now behind a pay wall, but it is way higher quality than Hardcore History, from an academic perspective.

Just finished watching the stream, but on the question about your very first video ever - I had the same question, and a thought - you should actually do a self-critique of your very first video whenever you hit your next goal; we can all get a good laugh out of it. Oh also, beyond 2048 you should setup additional goals matching the numbers of select products from each tech CPU generation e.g. 2700, 3700, in addition to the 'factor of 2' milestones you've got going on; that'll help you with some interim goals between 2048 and 4096 ;) Congrats again on 1024 and on to 2048!

It's the same with mortgage loans here too, as self-employed, nightmare to get loan. As if in bank's view anybody not salary job (permanent) is B class citizen. And then economists all over wise ass why millennials or even gen X dont buy apartments, or get into credit card overload.

My first thought is cuda cores/amd stream processors, those line up nicely to 10-11k range (also can use chip name for easier nicknaming); in similar fashion as cpu clock speed tiers.

Probably helps to work 2 jobs in that case. One for The System and one for yourself. Plus extra income never hurt anyone. Not always possible or easy but if you can you should.
