It was hard for me to come to a conclusion about what type of guest to have on this week...so many products and leaks are dropping right now. Then I realized....maybe we should just casually talk about all of it, and who better to have a conversation with about everything from Intel, to Nvidia, to consoles - then Paul at NAAF!?

Put your reader mail below about whatever you guys are curious about, or want us to discuss.  It can be anything - video games, leaks, product releases - whatever!  Just be thoughtful and use good grammar.

Do you guys feel that the new GPU architectures coming out (Discreet and Console) are going to move the bar higher and faster than previous generations, and essentially making the Polaris, Vega, RDNA1, Turing, etc. cards start to falter quickly through lack of features the new gen will bring? Should people hold off on buying good deals on used, or on sale Turing and RDNA1 cards or still too early to tell?

What do you think awaits us in the next generation of gaming. Particularly In games like battlefield can we expect more destruction, bigger maps or maybe more players?

Do you guys think the new GPU architectures will actually start utilizing PCIE 4.0 speeds? Or will 4.0 speeds not be a bandwidth issue for some time to come?

Assuming you saw the video from Coreteks about it, what do you think about the idea of a traversal coprocessor on upcoming RTX cards?

Do you think CPUs will start incorporating mini-CPU cores (possibly ARM-based) on the I/O dies to improve throughput for certain tasks in a manner similar to the storage controller on the PS5?

With rumors that the upcoming GPUs might have 350+ TDP; do you think do you think that undervolting may become more popular than compared to previous generations? And how do think AIBs will try to solve this problem by adding watercooling or just fat heatsinks?

Those favorite games I play are older games, and I go back to them still over most new ones; Games have better graphics every year but I prefer better game play over eye candy. How do you see it? Great game play or eye candy? And don't go with "balanced is good" shit, pick your poison. Great channels you 2 have!

It’s almost certain that both AMD and Nvidia’s next generation GPUs will have some form of raytracing, powered by fixed-function hardware. We also know that raytracing is the “next big thing” in gaming and might even eventually replace rasterization completely in certain titles. This being said, what do you think the next graphics/gaming revolution will be? ( Holographic displays? Brain implants? SkyNet?!)

Currently I don't believe there is any game with raytraced global illumination but yes. That would be the ultamite goal of all lighting features.

How close do you think will the performance-race be between AMDs BigNavi and Nvidias biggest graphics card? Considering "normal" performance as well as raytracing. I am not sure if AMD will be as powerful, especially with RT, and if so, how bad could this be for AMD?

With constant news about new substantial PC/gaming tech around the corner in many areas such as SSDs, GPUs, CPUs, monitors, etc... Are there any components to a PC/gaming setup that you think are worthwhile "investment" that won't just be outdated in a year or two?

The consumer state of the art for displays right now is 4k120. Big Navi and GA102 will both light that up just fine. At some point, the comparison becomes academic and should really just come down to price.
