Adoredtv (his writer on the website) has DG2 being on TSMC 7nm. Not sure I'm buying that tho.

I saw, and I talked about it in the discord. That's just not what I was told, and 2022 is 2 years from now... Intel will be launching stuff before that. However they also plan on having 7nm ready in 2022, and having a TSMC back up is probably true.

I can't imagine a guy with $300 for a RX5600 couldn't push his budget up to a RX5700XT. Get the 40CU and 8GB of ram.

MooresLawIsDead

I agree. I think people should get used RX 580's, Vega 56's, or otherwise you probably have enough money for an RX 5700. But we will see, it wouldn't surprise me if the 5600XT overclocked so well that it performed as well as a 5700 in 1080p...and it's price will probably drift towards $250 and lower quickly.

So Nvidia wants to drop the price of the 2060 to $320 or so with EVGA going down to $299. The irony of this situation is the fact that PowerColor had this RX 5700 for $319.99 for quite awhile at MicroCenter. https://www.microcenter.com/product/610942/powercolor-radeon-rx-5700-dual-fan-8gb-gddr6-pcie-40-video-card What adds insult to injury is the fact that the reference card is $10 more than this dual fan card, which has a similar cooler design to the Red Dragon card.

My used 2 XFX RX580x are still going strong, saving my $$ for BIG Navi though. I cant see spending my hard earned $$ on a RX5600xt when I have so much to look forward to. I'm not trying to future proof but I want some cushion for a few generations with my next purchase as far as my GPU goes.

To think Pascal relegated the RX 480 to midrange status. The 480 and 580 were basically duking it out with the 980 and subsequently the 1060. I don't blame you for waiting, I'd do the same if I hadn't gotten trigger happy about the Radeon VII.
