Tom & Dan can't help but feel like this week is a bit of a lull in the PC Hardware Space - like we are waiting to see how Zen 5 turns out... So, let's talk about it! We plan to discuss:

  • What's the biggest factor that would actually make you want to do a Zen 5 or Arrow Lake system this year?

  • Just in general what pricing, performance, and features are you looking to see confirmed?

  • Are their any "wild cards" or unannounced developments that haven't come to light yet that you could see swaying (or dissuading) you from being interested in Arrow Lake or Zen 5?

And of course general thoughts on Zen 5 and Arrow Lake are welcome as well! Write in below with your thoughts, and be sure to be as grammatically correct and concise as possible. You only have about an hour to submit! Sorry for the short notice, chaotic schedule this week!

This year? Nothing. Microcenter got me last year with Zen 4 on sale with free ram, I ended up building an almost entirely new system (I only kept AIO and power supply). Zen 5 looks really interesting to me in laptop, but I've been waiting on Strix Halo for that. Zen 5 desktop is good but I don't think my 7700x is handicapping my 7900xt in games. In a way, AMD is kind of a victim of their own success. I feel like both the 7700x and 7900xt were too good a value to pass up at the time I bought them, I'm just not motivated to upgrade. Intel hasn't interested me since desktop Alder lake.
