HAPPY VALENTINE'S... from Grace! (Patreon)

So... way back in 2005 I created this character called Night Girl (Yeah, I know) which evolved into this character called the Blue Lotus. I couldn't think of a cool name for the character though. It was only when I spoke to my dear friend was introduced to the daughter of my dear friend Stunt Coordinator Sarah Franzl that the name fitted the character- Grace Gilmore

Imagine a comic book with all the style reminiscent of shows like The Man From Uncle, The Green Hornet, Batman 66 and movies like Matt Helm and Our Man Flint. That's pretty much what was rolling around my skull when I started fleshing out the character and the world she lives in.

As I've been slogging through a back log of commissions, projects, Scarlett Couture and being a Dad, I had been jumping back and forth with the Blue Lotus until late last year a put a shift in to finish the third issue with one more to go, and i'm looking to start working on the Motion Book from April.

I'll be posting some pages at some point with a synopsis but until then enjoy these pics of the funkiest, hippest, trendiest crime-fighting character in the business- The Blue Lotus.
