Hey Guys!

I did this really awesome candid interview with one of the writers at GuysAskGirls and I think it went great, and he definitely captured what I wanted to say well!

I'd appreciate it if you guys could give it a look, and maybe post something in the comments. The site is really cool, it actually shows who is female and who is male, and it's funny to see the men like me and the women hate me, haha!

Anyway, I hope you enjoy! Doing another day stream today in an hour or so! :)

LOVE YOU!

Tara <3

Model/Gamer Tara Babcock: Western Feminists Can Shove It and Yeah, I'm Sexual

I'm not going to start with the overused and cliched "don't judge a book by its cover." Yeah, we all know: #dontjudgeabook I'm not going to be all self-righteous and lecturing and say, "Hey, look up from the tits; there's a brain in that head."

Honest, don't give a fuck what people say. That is you and you are awesome so intelligent. You bring up good points, great interview! It is interesting what goes inside killers heads. I'm sure you would make a great killer psychologist.

Interviews are dicey affairs. Sometimes what you formulate in your mind, may not articulate well through your tongue and interviewers/journalists may pounce on any slip to spin whatever way they want. I swear ethical/objective journalism has pretty much been drop these days. Everyone has their own agenda and wishes to lay out their own narrative, leaving the audience to factor in motivations of parties involved on their own, which is a headache. Reason why I don't linger long in mainstream news, and even alternative news may not be as altruistic they sometimes claim to be. Bah, we live in an information war which can be depressing sometimes. (I just want cold information and let me dissect it for myself without some covert interpretation attached that would have me lean my opinion one way or another). Hahaha. tangent, tangent, watch out for tangents. Restarting back, ^_^ I enjoyed reading the interview, it was fun, frank and light-hearted. Thank you Tara. ^_^ And props to the interviewer/writer as well. ^_^ I do agree with the comment in the interview that today's kids or young gamers are being exposed to questionable quality games. At the risk of being call a 'ganpa' in South Park, I do wish young gamers would educate themselves in older games so they can gauge for themselves what quality games is. Its not just all about bells and whistles and high end graphics. All that glitters is not gold ya. The other day a guy who just got into pro wrestling told me WWE, now, was the best he ever seen. I stopped what I was doing, felt I was splashed with cold water. "What you just say?" Hahahaha. Heck I do play tetris, or the 'brick game', my eternal rival, once in a blue moon, trying to get to (but never do) that mystical final level. I say this that young gamers need to be more knowledgeable in the industry they are passionate about because young gamers will inherit the gaming world and they need to hold large gaming studios and publishers to higher standards of quality and accountability. No this first day DLC BS. Unstable/ crazy glitchy games on launch. Holding content as preorder ransom as is in the Total War: Warhammer controversy. Or sectioning off content piecemeal, using the launch titles as some MVP (minimal viable product) to be a platform to hawk DLCs, season pass, microtransactions. Examples - Destiny, Starwars Battlefront and I'm sorry The Division. Young/New gamers need to know this is not normal and when we start to entertain it as so, it will be dark days for the gaming world I fear. As for the part of the interview that touches on feminism (hot potato, hot potato) I'm all for women burning their bras as the next guy. Ha. Jokes aside, I'm all for equality of opportunity and wages in the workplace. This does not just end with gender but ethic and age discrimination as well. The end quality of work done should be the appraising factor. And pay fairness is a big deal, not just financially, but is a tangible acknowledgement to your contribution, which affects your sense of self worth. However feminism, as is applies in the gaming world, has taken a vicious ugly turn. Non gamers and SJWs who have their own unresolved material to deal with has taken the warcry (when there was no war) without fully understanding (or just ignoring) the context in which the gaming world exists. Look at the effects. Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 (Team Ninja/Koei Tecmo) not releasing in the US/Europe. We need to see the wider implications here. Japanese games studios are essentially domestic-centric inward looking. However they do see the US as a potential lucrative market, that would justify the cost of localizing into english. However if the hassle and backlash is too great (ie. the claws of feminists and SJWs) and that they need to sacrifice artistic creative integrity, Japanese game studios would just happily go to being domestic-centric inward looking. Water off a duck's back. This affects all english speaking gamers around the world as having more japanese games localized into english would only be a boon. On a smaller scale to the effects of feminism on gaming - look at the controversy of Street Fighter 5 with Cammy's entrance and Mika's special move being censored. (They were not that risque in the first place) Cammy and Mika are sexy and they kick ass. What is wrong in being sexy in video games?! *eyes Mortal Kombat X and compared it to previous installments. BTW MK2 is still my all time fav ^_^) Seriously, I understand the argument that female characters need to be portrayed more credibly alongside their male counterparts in video games, and now, more then ever we have more women protagonist if not supporting characters in games who kicks ass and take names. And as a gamer since the early 90s there's a fresh air in diversity. (though women characters have always been badass...) The thing is women are sexy! What's wrong in portraying that in video games?! *facepalm* Anyway thank you for the interview read. Props to Tara and the Interviewer/writer. ^_^ *glance at the comments section of the interview* *starts to read the comments section in depth* Woow. Things got...vigorous in the comments section of the interview. The internet. However Tara, you can spank with the best of them. I'm whistling to myself right now. It's like watching a water dancer in the game of thrones sparring with multiple opponents at once. A sight to behold. *smiles* I do appreciate your comment on the lack of outcry in the objectification of men in video games. Have anyone seen the size of Chris Redfield's arms in Resident Evil 5? I was like, "Wha? Okay. Lets shoot zombies!!!" And how do one do a bad job in raping? Do you get graded? Is there a standard? *laughs* Jokes aside, I am getting angry. In particular to that comment that you do not put effort into your gaming vids. That was...unacceptable. When everyone here knows how much heart and love you put into your work. And it is work. I do not know why people would choose to remain ignorant and build opinions based on ignorance without first studying the matter. And it doesn't take much study to see the sincerity you put into your work. Just look at the hundreds of gaming vids in your channel. I just do not understand people. *sigh* I watch AngryJoe (but I'm more of an OtherJoe fan). I like their bro chemistry. I watch AngryCentaurGaming because I like his analytical approach to gaming. I watch MetalJesusRocks - the guy rocks and he's passionate about gaming. I watch Upupdowndown because I'm a wrestling fan (always been) and I like seeing wwe wrestlers let their hair down and play video games. I watch 8bit gaming because of their british accents and I was really into FNAF's who is the purple guy mystery last year. (Its the phone guy! F the dream theory!) I watch gamespot's The Point because the topics on gaming are interesting. (I read gamespot articles too in their website. Since the early 2000s. But with gamespot, and IGN, you need to take their AAA game reviews with a grain of salt). I watch Good Game, an australian gaming channel/TV show. (Luv Bajo, Hex and Co.) I watch Tara Babcock because I appreciate her take on games, her indie recommends*** and her monthly games releases report (In case there's something I've missed). And yes Tara is sexy! So? Heck, I even drop by boogie2988 from time to time to hear his take on games and the gaming industry. The thing is you have to take as many different points of view as possible to get a more rounded picture of things. Its not rocket science. But people are just lazy and would rather everyone else conform their point of view instead. Psst. I may not play as much games as I once did but I like to keep taps on the world that I have always been passionate about. To the gaming content creators - thank you. To Tara - Thank you. Lets hear bullet with butterfly wings. Have a great day everyone)
