To set the scene: You are stuck at work the day your singer girlfriend left for a cross country tour. She left you a message earlier but you have not had time to call her back yet because work ran late and then your boss wanted to take you out to dinner to talk about a promotion. 

NOTE / QUESTION FROM LACEY: I am recording the voicemails for this mini series on my phone instead of the nice mic on purpose so that it is more realistic, but I wanted to just check in to see if that makes for a nice / realistic listening experience on your end or if you would prefer these done on the nice mic as well.
