Weekly Update #189 (Patreon)

I wanted to wait until I have the second volume of LDQ done being edited before posting an update, but it's taking longer than I wanted it to. The good news, though, is that it's about 3/4 done now. If I continue working on it as much as I worked on it yesterday and today so far, then it should be done in another couple of days. Then I just have to go through it again to fix some spacing issues with Window's tables, change the font to be more readable, and then do the finishing touches such as add a table of contents and stuff like that.

Anyways, this is my lunch hour, which is mainly just... "take the dogs out" hour nowadays since I keep on fasting beyond my lunch, so I figured I should hurry up and type this up.

But yeah. LDQ is 3/4 done now. Just focusing on that until I get it done, then I'll be able to relax and take it much slowly which will free up more time for working on TTT's rewrite. Because even if I only edit a single chapter of LDQ a day, which takes like... maybe 20 minutes at most, I'll be able to have it done in a month which will be decently ahead of schedule for the third volume's release.

29 hours, 10,477 words. Most of those hours were spent on editing, but I still want to see the numbers for both go up.

The True Endgame

I had a lot of fun with the latest chapter, and the next one should be a good challenge for me since I'll be writing Rao's perspective for it. I'm not entirely sure what it's like inside of his head, so I'll have to get myself into a himbo mindset to properly narrate something from his perspective.

Mom chapters are always fun to write, and so was that wincest bait. Alas, there can be no actual wincest, much to our dismay.

Lazy Dragon Queen

If there's one thing that I really love about editing LDQ, it's that all the old chapters are still able to make me laugh and smile. I think that's a sign I've done pretty well for the series. As for the latest chapter, Lake got to channel her Elanah energy, which really made me want to write more of actual Elanah.
