Weekly Update #188 (Patreon)

I'll admit I got a bit lazy last week, and I'm going to absolve myself of all blame by instead blaming it on a certain somebody who got covid which meant he couldn't work all week which meant I had to do the oh so horrible thing of playing video games with him during the day to help pass the time. I mean, I had to, obviously. It was the right thing to do. To not play games with my friend while he is technically sick and stuck at home would make me a horrible person. Therefore, I am not bad nor lazy just because I spent most of the last week playing video games.

But, I still got everything done on time which is the most important thing. And I'm still waking up at 6am on the dot every single morning, going on a walk, and working on everything I need to work on while also staying faithful to keto and one-meal-a-day intermittent fasting. So even if I did get lazy, I'm still doing pretty good (at least, in my opinion) at improving my schedule and health.

Anyways, the week has been pretty good! It's even nice and cool out with a bit of wind which means I get to keep my window open for some fresh air. Also did a deep cleaning of my bedroom and bathroom, so now everything is extra clean.

The True Endgame

I always have fun expanding on the side characters. Now that Tabitha has gotten a bit of a deeper exploration into her and why she is the way that she is, it's time for a boys' chapter! This chapter will (should) be all Fenrir, Corwin, and Rao. Oleander/Spencer will probably get a chapter more focused on him later since I do want to give him some more screen time, too.

Ero Dungeon Online

Drama! Everybody loves some good ol' juicy drama, right? I, too, love drama. I just don't really like when it's drama focusing on the protagonist and his waifu(s). But any and all other drama is great. It's the same in real life, really. I love drama, but I hate being a core part of it. I just want to watch it instead of get involved in it. Now, Damian might be a bit involved with it, but not too much.

Lazy Dragon Queen

LDQ continues to be my most effortless story. Now, I don't mean effortless as in I'm putting in the least amount of effort into it. It's just that writing it is the easiest to write. Everything just comes so naturally and I never really have to think too hard about it. All I have to do is write whatever I feel like writing, which I love doing. Now, if only I was able to apply that practice to more serious stories.

The Tentacles' Tavern

Alright, now I'm going to actually start the rewrite this week. I did get a bit more planning for it done last week and I have a good idea for how to end it, as well as an idea for an epilogue of sorts that I'm going to add to the ending. And said epilogue should, hopefully, be very, very cute. I'm tempted to tease what it's going to be like even if it's probably really obvious, but I won't. 

In Closing

Alright, now that I'm done typing this up, I can get back to writing DE. Already worked on editing LDQ for 3 hours earlier to make up for being lazy last week, and I'll probably do that every morning just to make sure it's fully edited this week. Now to write! Four hours is more than enough to type up a DE chapter. Especially if it's the kind of chapter I think it's going to end up being.
