Weekly Update #128 (Patreon)

This past week has, in fact, been another week. It was a very week-y week. Somebody might even say that it was the weekiest week to ever week before.

I don't have too much to say this week, so there won't be much of substance in this update.

Also I want to try out vtubing.

16 hours and 13,670 words, which is about the norm. I'm hoping to really up those numbers this week, though. I feel like I'm about to enter another big writing phase where I'm motivated to get a lot done. Maybe it's because I keep on looking at houses and want to buy one already to live on my own. The more I write and sooner I finish editing, the more and sooner I'll get dem dollas, the sooner I'll be able to buy a house. At the very least, it's important to try and get my yearly earnings over $30,000 at least since home loaners look at the average of your last 2 years of reported income when it comes to self-employment. Or something like that. I think I was at like $36,000 last year, but I'm only at about $23,000 this year. I should be at $27,000 if Patreon stays at this level. So, I'll have to hope that I'm able to make up the difference by publishing to Amazon or by posting the rebooted TQH to bring in new patrons. We'll see!

The True Endgame

That was a really fun chapter for me to write. It wasn't at all what I was planning on the chapter being, but then I had the idea for it and went for it. And I would really, really love to talk about the chapter's contents and Kadi in general... but I don't think I can without going into massive spoiler territory. Heck, probably even just saying that I can't without going into massive spoiler territory is a spoiler of its own. So, I'm just going to leave it as a teaser like that and say once more that I'm extremely excited for the future of the series.

Ero Dungeon Online

I plan on there being two plot arcs this volume. Right now, it should be obvious what the first plot arc is going to be if you've read up to the latest chapters. The second plot arc of this volume will focus on some returning characters who have already been teased a bit. Of course, all of this depends on whether or not Damian can actually stick to a single goal for more than a couple of chapters. Yes, it's totally on him and not on me.

Lazy Dragon Queen

And now we have the third volume! It's about time we made it to here. Of course, there's already new waifus and a new source of fluff. There will be plenty more new things, too! Though, I'm still warming up to writing the cat queen and the new waifu queen. It's been so long with just the usual cast that I need to really get into the habit of writing the others.

Other Projects

Minimal progress has been made outside of character art that I've commissioned. There's not really any excuse for it, either. I guess I've just been taking these past few weeks pretty easy. The good news, though, is that I feel pretty damn rested now. I think my body has completely adjusted to keto now that I'm going onto the third week, and I honestly feel so better and just healthier than I've felt in a long, long time. Between not really having back pain anymore thanks to switching to a hammock, and now completely overhauling my diet and taking vitamins for some pretty crucial things I was deficient in, I don't get daily headaches anymore, I'm not always tired, I feel like my mind is clearer, there's less anxiety - I seriously feel great. My blood pressure is still way too high, but that's because I need to lose weight which I'm working on.

I don't plan on taking tomorrow off like I have been lately. Instead, I really want to try to write as much of the TQH reboot as I can. I want to get some of it out to all of you here on Patreon before the end of the month which means within this week, and I want at least 10 chapters before I do that, so I'll try my best!

Reading Report

This may come as a surprise, but I haven't read this week. I know, shocker. I was too distracted with Minecraft. There's also the fact that I want to take a break from reading light novels to read some Western fantasy, but I packed all my Western books away, so I'd have to open up containers and dig through them to find the books. Maybe I'll do that tomorrow while waiting for some of my weekly meal prep to finish.
