Weekly Update #117 (Important-ish) (Patreon)

Important Part: I won't be posting any new chapters this week because I'll be taking the week to instead finish rewriting/editing the first volume of TTE. Just going to power through doing that because, wow, the charm of editing it wore off real quick and having to write new chapters and edit old chapters in the same day has been a massive cause of writing block and procrastinating.. So, going to get that done. I might not be able to get the whole thing done, but if I can get up to at least 90% done, I'll be happy. 100% is definitely the goal, though.

On a somewhat related topic, I picked a really good week to do this. I didn't even mean to line this up as I did, but it's a good thing I did. My mum left to go get a stomach sleeve surgery, meaning that I'm on my own to take care of my grandma with dementia and the dogs by myself, so that's also a massive distraction when it comes to writing new chapters. It's easy to rewrite and edit while being asked the same question every 5 minutes, but not so much when trying to write a brand new chapter and I keep getting interrupted and taken out of the flow of things. Anyways, my mum won't be back until Thursday. After that, she won't be able to lift anything on her own for 6 weeks. So, I'm still going to have more interruptions than normal, but at least I (hopefully) will have the entirety of TTE's first volume finished up so that I'm not getting distracted while also needing to double my workload.

Also, some good news: I've been struggling lately trying to decide which new series I want to write and focus on getting chapters done for after editing. This past week, I was just... suddenly hit by a massive burst of inspiration, so I think I know what I'm going to do now. I've already commissioned Eros for some character designs to help motivate me even more!

Also part 2, yay for throwing my OCD into the trash and moving away from PDFs whenever possible.

Rough week in terms of getting stuff done on time, but I did manage to pull 44 hours and 31,712 words. Though, most of the bonus words went entirely to new stuff rather than editing. I really didn't want to let my new inspiration slip away. I'll probably do some more writing for one of the new series tonight after I eat my Thai food that I'm waiting to have delivered.

The True Endgame

Extra thicc chapter this week, and I was personally pretty happy with it. I really wanted to try and give Eva some best girl points since she was kind of lacking there compared to the rest of the girls. She hasn't gotten much time with only her and Ryouta/Fenrir. So, this latest chapter was basically dedicated to (hopefully) making her a better character and giving her some much needed best girl points. Of course, the last few chapters also had a good deal of stuff with her.

I figure I should just expand on her, and Azalabulia a bit more as well, before bringing in another harem member!

Ero Dungeon Online

Alright, so this little arc with a certain reoccuring character is over now. To be honest, I have no idea what's going to happen next, but that's par for the course considering that I never really know what exactly is going to happen next. I know what's going to happen after the stuff that happens next that happens next, but not specifically what happens next.

Maybe give Akorya a bit more love. Just as Eva needed some best girl points, Akorya needs some more best girl points. Especially considering that her competition is the Lily.

The Queen's Hound

Next chapter should wrap up this little arc, and then we're going into some more plot-focused stuff, now with more action than before. At least, that's the plan.

Lazy Dragon Queen

Gasp, how dare this silly nonsensical random fluffy story actually have at least some lore explanations for how things kinda are. Of course, I don't plan on ever going into too much detail or anything. I just wanted to get some of the very basics down. I doubt I'll ever be going into much more information than I did in this latest chapter to justify things.

CORE

Time for the dungeon and empire to grow! Of course, they won't be able to grow without running into some conflict. And conflict will be coming soon!
