This ended up being one of those chapters I wasn't super happy with and spent way more time on than I would have liked to, but felt that it was within the acceptable range for being good enough to post and move on so that I can get to the better stuff afterwards instead of getting hung up on something that can be improved later in the published version. A bridge chapter, if you will. The bridge itself might not be that exciting, but the stuff on the other side of the bridge will be way more entertaining \o/

And for those of you who didn't read this week's update, I'm going to "take off" from the rest of my stories next week to only write this until Patreon has 10 chapters ahead. I can definitely get 9 more of these done next week if I take a week break from my other stories. And then my schedule can finally be back to normal \o/. So, no more volcano this week, but you'll be getting at least 9 more chapters next week.
