Ero Dungeon Evolution

Alright! Let's go into this with as minimal spoilers as possible.

Overall, I'm happy with how the first volume went. I do think the first half was much stronger than the second half. While I'm not going to make excuses, I do believe that part of the reason why the second half was kinda ehhhhh at times is because of it getting removed from RR. I really don't want people seeing it as just a sex story, so I placed a heavier emphasis on the actual story and moved things along some more. As a result, I think the pacing kinda went out of balance and things might feel rushed at times, especially when it comes to certain reveals. For the second volume and onward, I'm going to go back to the "roots" of the story and return to having a larger focus on sex and sexual things while slowly weaving in the plot and worldbuilding over time. I'm already happier with how the second volume is going than pretty much the entire latter half of the first volume.

Though, suddenly going from getting like 7-9 likes per chapter on here to only 1-3 is kind of concerning. I try to use that as a gauge for whether people are liking the chapters or not since I don't get many comments. Those of you who do comment, though, are awesome and I read every comment that I get.

Steel Glory (The Mecha Story)

Look, I don't like the name. I ran like 30 names by some of you in the Discord, and this one is by far the best of them all. I'm almost definitely going to be renaming this story later once I figure out a goodname for it. Anyways, I like how it's going, and now it's on Royal Road! Unfortunately, within the first three hours of being on RR, it's already gotten one .5 star rating and one 1 star rating. So, the score for it is hurting. If you've been enjoying the story here on Patreon, please feel free to go and drop an advanced review (preferably stating that you've read ahead here on Patreon so that people aren't confused why you're already reviewing it when only two chapters are out). Having a minimum of 4 stars average rating is extremely important on RR since many people won't read anything with a lower average, and it's sitting below that right now. People either really don't like mechas, or I must have done something to piss them off. Anyways! I'm sure it'll all work out fine in the end. If you don't leave a rating or review, that's alright. Its success on Royal Road is going to affect the future release schedule of the story. I'm not going to drop the story, but if it does not get a high enough amount of followers nor bring in enough new patrons to justify the time spent writing it Monday through Friday, then I'm going to invest that time into a story that will be monetarily worth it. I know that might make me sound greedy and like I'm only doing this for the money, but this is my job. I've got a Bachelor's degree in Business Management. One thing I learned is to wisely invest my time. I'm already making below minimum wage for how many hours I put into my stories, so I really need to focus on stories that are going to boost that the best. Worst case scenario, it only gets updated once or twice a week instead of five times a week. I love the story and have too many plans to drop it, and I'd love for it to warrant staying on the lineup as a main story, but we'll just have to wait and see. So, don't worry. I promise not to drop the story. Hopefully, it gets updated Mon-Fri until completion. Worst case scenario, it only gets updated once a week (though, it'd have larger chapters in that case). I'll wait until after it (hopefully) gets onto Trending and see how it's doing then before making any decisions. If it can bring in at least $400 worth of new patrons, then it will be worth it. TTE brought in about $500 and EDE brought in $650. So, a $400 increase within the next... let's say 40-50 days is the goal for this story to stay on a Mon-Fri schedule. You can also apply this logic to all of my future main stories. I know, I know. It makes me sound greedy, but the more money I'm making, the more stories I can provide for you all for a longer amount of time without worrying about pandering as much. Fortunately, most of the things there are to pander to are things I already enjoy writing myself.

But seriously, I love mechas too much to ever abandon this story, so I can safely promise it will never get dropped.

In Closing

So, to add onto the stress of everything else, my grandma is here now. Some of you might remember reading that my grandma is currently going through Alzheimer's or Dementia (hasn't been properly diagnosed yet), and she's going to be staying here with me for the next three weeks. This means that I'm going to be taking care of her throughout the day and won't be talking as much in the voice chat on Discord for those of you who like to talk to me in there. Naturally, this also means I'm going to be getting pulled away and distracted much more often than usual. I still have every intention of publishing chapters for TTE, EDE, and SG Mon-Fri, but please be patient with me if they're late in the day sometimes. I will try my best to continue publishing everything by and around 6pm EST, and in the event that chapters are late, I will do my best to not go to sleep before they've all been written and posted for the day.
