Patreon Changes

No big deal here, really. I've changed it so that the PDFs will be released every Monday instead of every weekend since that's what I keep on doing anyways, and I removed the shout-out to new patrons. Why did I remove that? Because now that I'm posting multiple stories on multiple websites, it gets really confusing really quick who needs thanked when. Maybe if I was only posting on RRL since it has the sections specifically for author notes, I'd keep doing it, but RRL is pretty unique in that regard. Honestly, as much as I think RRL is incredibly flawed, it's the best site to post on as far as ease goes. It copies my formatting exactly, can include tables and pictures, has pre and post chapter notes, can schedule chapters in advance, hide chapters once posted, etc., and so on. But yeah, PDFs on Mondays and no more shout-outs to new patrons. You'll still get the awesome mention at the end of every chapter if you're paying $15 or more, though.

The True Endgame

We're in the final arcs of the second volume. It'll probably end in the 10th or 11th chapter/patch. Then, volume three!

I don't know when I'm going to get around to editing and revising the first volume to post on Amazon. I'm thinking of waiting a bit before doing that, still. I really want to get all my other projects up and running first and get more of a reliable monthly income on here before I worry about self-publishing. Plus I've got a bunch of research into self-publishing to do. It's more complicated than it sounds! At least, it is if you want to actually be at least a tiny bit successful and sell more than a couple of copies at most.

Subverting Tropes in Another World

I keyboard smashed a paragraph for this and then deleted it. Anyways, I keep on saying this is going to be ready, and then it's not, and just blagh. Part of the problem is that, while I promise I'm going to do this story, I really want to work on everything else instead. However, my brain is like "well STAW is already so close to being released, so just do two more chapters and then once it's on a schedule you can focus on the other stuff," so then I end up not writing the other stuff that I want to write more because I feel like I need to get STAW out first, but since I want to write the other stuff more I keep on thinking about that instead of STAW, and it's just gbvftesgdghbfedsgs.

So, I have learned an important thing from this. I am never going to say when something will be out again. Only when something is ready to be publicly posted and given a consistent schedule will you hear details about it. However, I am going to try and get STAW finished on ahead chapters either today or tomorrow. I only need to write two more before it's ready, so not a big deal. I already know what I want to do with them anyways. I really wanted to do it yesterday, but I ended up sleeping for fourteen hours yesterday.

I still promise it's going to be consistent once it's actually posted publicly. Also, instead of doing it daily for the first thirty days, I'm just going to start off with the tri-weekly updates for my own sanity. I will likely end up doing the same for EDE.

Edit: There'll be an in-depth post about STAW next Monday, but for now - for the story's sake, it's being put on indefinite hold so that it doesn't turn into another ASV.

In Closing

I suppose "in closing" should be used to summarize stuff up, but I usually just end up using it to talk about personal stuff.

Anyways, I've enrolled to get my TEFL certificate since it's a nice boost when applying to teach English in foreign countries. I could move to Japan next month and get a job if I wanted to, but that would require me working a soulless job in a cram school with shitty pay. From all the research I've done, they'll literally hire anybody who is white and has a pulse. What I'm going to most likely try doing instead is getting into Japan's JET program, and if I don't, I'll apply to jobs myself.

But yeah, by this time next year, I am 100% set on being on my way to Japan. 

God, I'm such a weeb. I'm actually going to go work and live in Japan. My poor mother, if only she knew how bad of a degenerate I am.

Anyways, yeah. I still want to get some more writing done today, so until next time o/.
