Alright, now that that's done with, welcome to April! I'm happy to announce that I effectively received $387.99 after taxes for my first month of being on Patreon, and only two payments were declined. Not too shabby if I do say so myself. Though, the two of you who went out of your way to spend a fuck ton for the first month are more than welcome to return to lower amounts now. You know who you are.

I'm going to be using most of this to pay off my debt, but I might get a new cover commissioned for one of the upcoming stories as well. It depends on if I can find an artist that I feel would best suit one of the stories. I'm not going to use it to get a new cover for TTE's second volume since I'll just be using whatever I make from publishing the first volume on Amazon for that. I might not make much on Amazon, but considering some of the novels on there that make thousands of dollars, I like to believe I'll get at least a couple hundred dollars. Hopefully.

The True Endgame

Alright, volume one is finished, and we're now in volume two! From here on out, you can expect a more focused plot line that still has slice of life here and there rather than being predominantly slice of life. There will still be enough to warrant calling it slice of life, I believe, but there is going to be actual conflict that lasts more than a single chapter (or patch series) now. It's been fun reading what some of you have been guessing about what's going to happen in the comments here and on Discord. All I can say is that nothing is ever as cut and dry as it seems, and I like to fuck with my readers' expectations, so you have been warned.

On a side note, did you know some people consider cat girls and dog girls and all of that to be bestiality? It's silly, imo, but I was reading this huge rant about how anybody who likes girls with cat ears and tail are into bestiality. Prudes, ya know? Their logic was that you're still sexualizing something that is part animal. I guess I can kind of see their point, but at the same time... lel.

A Slave's Voice

yeah. That happened. There's a postop up on RRL if you want to read that in addition to what I said last week, but basically, it's on temporary hold for now until I revise it sometime in the future to make it better. I might revise it in a few months, or maybe a year from now. Either way, it's going to be a while before I revise it. I feel like I need to go and read some more proper grimdark before I go back to it. There is just such a huge amount in that story that I want to change and make better that I need to take a good amount of time from it to discover what I truly want to do with that story. 

Upcoming Story: Subverting Tropes in Another World

I might even add "Re:" onto the front of it just to be really cliche.

Anyways, I've talked about this in the Discord server already, but here's the general idea for the story:

Some middle-aged business man who's like your generic, grumpy, bossy middle-manager who's the boss bitch to people underneath him and the little bitch to the people above him either dies or gets suddenly summoned into another world. The world he's brought into is fantasy and absolutely full of cliches, tropes, etc. Like, think the most cliche sort of fantasy world that you can think of.

The thing is that he absolutely hates cliches. He used to be a huge fantasy lover until he got tired of the same cliches and tropes being used constantly, and now he finds himself not only summoned in an extremely cliche world full of everything that he hates about fantasy, but he was summoned by the "bad" demons who wish to turn him into their new evil overlord.

And so that's exactly what he does, but he does it right. He knows all the common traps and cliches that stereotypical antagonists fall into, and it is his mission to subvert every single one of them. Are the peasants angry because they're starving? Give them more food. Is there a messenger delivering bad news? Give him a raise instead of killing him out of anger in front of everybody. Was the prophetic hero just born to some random peasant woman in a faraway village? Go kill him before he has a chance to grow up instead of waiting for him to turn into a worthwhile challenger.

Many of the things that he does are going to be seen as very good and ethical, but really, he's just being smart. He's still going to have his very evil moments, but they will all be cold and calculated ones that serve to increase his position and security. 

The main genres for the story would probably be: fantasy, comedy, action, and maybe satire. As for tags, I'm thinking: Reincarnation/Summoned Hero, Strategy, Slice of Life to a lesser degree (kingdom/base management stuff is basically slice of life as far as I'm concerned), Male Lead, Magic, and Anti-Hero Lead. It'll probably end up having multiple character leads as well. The main character's PoV will be first person, but there may be the occasional chapter where something is showed through the perspective of another character.

There might be a bit of romantic moments sprinkled in here and there, but not enough to warrant tagging it as that. It might also have very, very light harem elements to it. However, any actual sex and romance will likely be in the shape of non-canon Patreon-exclusive chapters.

 Upcoming Story: Ero Dungeon Evolution

Reading that title should make it obvious what this story is going to be. It's going to be an erotic story featuring a dungeon and a MC that evolves.

Now, I'm not 100% sure that I'm going to do this story yet.

Anyways, the basic plot idea is that there's this pretty handsome, flawless dude who everybody fawns over. He's got looks, money, status - everything. However, there is one deep dark secret that he keeps hidden from the rest of the world.

He's only into monster porn/hentai.

Who wants to watch a regular guy fuck some girl when he could watch tentacle porn, read hentai where there are goblins and orcs and minotaurs fucking girls, and all sorts of stuff like that? He doesn't want to look at some boring human dude fuck a girl, he wants to see some real monsters doing it. So, he gets summoned to this world and is given a choice between what sort of race he wants to be turned into.

I'm torn between him choosing one of two things:

A generic, low-level slime creature or an ugly, super short goblin/imp.

Either way, he has no intention of becoming human again.

There would still be actual plot and story and blahblah since RRL requires it, and he wouldn't be able to turn into any monsters that are too animalistic because of Patreon and RRL rules against bestiality (though I've seen other Patreons got away with it), but he will be taking on the forms of all sorts of monsters. Goblins, slimes, tentacle monsters, minotaurs, centaurs, etc.

It would be a very, very kinky story. And harem. And the best part is that it'd all be consensual, yay! You see, not only is he into monsters, but he's into consensual monsters. He doesn't get turned on by rape. So just imagine him hiring this giant, imposing orc or something that he sets at the front of the dungeon who hands out waivers to anybody coming into the dungeon that they have to sign. Basically, by signing the waivers, they consent to having anything sexual happen to them in the dungeon.

Anyways, the main genres would be: Adventure, Fantasy, Romance, and Comedy. The main tags would be: LitRPG (it'll have a stat and skill system to some degree), Reincarnation (maybe?), Slice of Life, Male Lead, Magic, Harem, Non-Human Lead, and Anti-Hero Lead. 

The thing I'm most conflicted over is whether or not I should I post this under another name or not on RRL. It would still lead to this same Patreon, but I just don't know if I should post this and future erotic stories under a different name publicly or not. I'm honestly thinking just going "fuck it" and posting it under this name. I am the "Unashamed King of Weeb Trash," after all.

Pros of same name: name recognition, not having to manage multiple accounts, less confusion.

Cons of same name: readers not reading other stories because of name being associated to morally-questionable erotic ones, less artists or people in general wanting to work with me because of my pen name being associated with erotic things, etc. People might be reluctant to share my story with their friends/other people in general because they might look at my other stories and see the erotic stuff.

So there are a few serious cons, but it really comes down to whether or not I should give a fuck. My main source of income right now is Patreon, so as long as I don't lose patrons over it, it doesn't really matter.

Upcoming Story: (Name Pending)

This story is a while's off still and it's going to require a lot of planning and worldbuilding ahead of time. Like, even more than I did for TTE. It's heavily inspired by the Rance series.

Basically, the main character would be this (un)likeable bastard who both has great respect for women and no respect for women at the same time. He's the kind of guy who believes in total equality, has no problem with women being in higher positions than him, being rulers, respects them as fighters and workers, etc. However, he also basically treats them all like objects and just wants to fuck every single one of them. He's the kind of guy who could get an audience with a queen and ask her if she's down to fuck right off the bat. He's the kind of guy who will offer captured prisoners freedom in exchange for fucking them. He's the kind of guy who will bend over his servants to fuck them no matter who else is around, including in the middle of dinner.

"Oh, we're in the middle of eating dinner with a bunch of people and potentially some underage kids? Who cares, let's fuck."

However, he'd still have his own morals. He'd prefer consensual sex over rape, but wouldn't put rape past him if it comes to a girl that's been a huge pain in his side or is just evil. He also would refuse to touch anybody underage or that looks underage, protects the girls he cares about to the end and refuses to let anybody else treat them (or any other girl) like trash, etc. He'd also be a huge tsundere when it comes to actual romance and not just fucking.

Aside from that, he'd actually be a pretty good person overall. Helps people out when he can, plays games in the streets with kids if he walks by them, goes on epic quests to save the world - you know, the usual. 

But at the same time, he'd be a semi-rapist asshole who can only think about sex.

Despite that, I wouldn't consider this an erotic novel. Sex is a huge drive for his character, but there would be little of it in comparison to the actual story.

Main genres would be: Action, Adventure, Fantasy, Comedy. I want to include Romance, but I can only do 4 genres on RRL. Main tags would be: LitRPG (very light RPG system), Strong Lead, Male Lead, Magic, Harem, Anti-Hero Lead.

Wow, three stories all with anti-hero leads. I just noticed that.

Patreon Changes

I'm going to be making it so that the $5 tier gets access to one bonus chapter per main story a month, and the $10 tier gets access to at least one additional bonus chapter a month. So you get one bonus a month if you pay $5, and at least 2 if you pay at least $10. Furthermore, I'm going to get TTE caught up on ahead-chapters, then I'm going to write the first chapter for the first two upcoming stories to get feedback on what you all think of it first, and then I'm going to marathon the next 7 chapters so that the $10 tier finally gets the bonus of being 14 chapters ahead. Then I will write up to 14 chapters for both of the other stories before publishing them to RRL.
