我靠著將近快10年的舊筆電

作業系統為i5，顯卡為GTX950m

開始了我的AI之旅

但很不幸的，孱弱的電腦效能

導致我跑一張512x512的CG圖需要花費16分鐘的時間

對比現今跑一張768x768需要24秒的時間

可以說是天壤之別

由於AI圖需要不斷的去修改它的提示詞

來趨近於創作者所需要的圖，並且從中挑選出來後

最後再不斷的生圖修正它才能完成好一張CG圖

就我修正的圖最多次的至少有200張以上

若以當時的電腦來看的話，一張圖我就得跑53.3個小時才能完成

所以想製作出好的AI圖基本上不可能了

為此，我便決定組台新電腦來製作AI圖

On February 27, 2023,

I embarked on my AI journey with an almost 10-year-old laptop, equipped with an i5 processor and a GTX950m graphics card.

Unfortunately, the weak performance of my computer meant that generating a single 512x512 CG image took a staggering 16 minutes, in stark contrast to the mere 24 seconds it takes today to generate a 768x768 image.

The difference is like night and day.

Due to the continuous need to refine the prompts for AI-generated images to approach what the creator desires, and then selecting and further refining from the outputs, I found myself having to correct the images multiple times, with some requiring over 200 revisions. With the computing power available at the time, it would take approximately 53.3 hours to generate a single image. Achieving high-quality AI-generated images seemed almost impossible.

As a result, I decided to build a new computer dedicated to creating AI images.

私は、ほぼ10年前の古いノートパソコンに頼って

OSはi5、GPUはGTX950mです

私のAIの旅を始めました
