Daily Work Summary + Write-up 2018.10.20 (Patreon)

So here's today's Work! I'm still focusing a lot on my version of Jesus and Heaven, and wanted you all to see! I'm actually doing an oil painting for the first time in a while! Here are the very bare bones beginnings, and I'll try to have a sketch finished for you all to see tomorrow evening:

And now, the write-up on Heaven as a Place: 

Heaven is a unique place, both in its original placements, and also in its new locale in the merged reality. Heaven is best described as a lower atmosphere satellite, which orbits the glove from its own power. Heaven has three tiers, which also mirror the three choirs of angels.

The bottom tier houses most of the areas where mortals live after their death. It is largely rural and pastoral, green fields, with a series of low mountains around the outside edge. There is a small central walled town on a lake in the center of the platform. The platform is seven miles in Diameter, and in the center of the town is a spire supported by seven flying buttressed towers, which also serve as bridges into the town proper. 

The second tier is a small platform on the spire, primarily meant to be administrative. This is also where maintenance of heaven can be accessed. 

The third tier is a sphere of liquid metal alloy. Within is the throne of Yahweh, as well as the third choir. The sphere helps to contain Yahweh for other's protection, and softly glows. Heaven is ultimately a large flying micro-nation, and the metal alloy which contains Yahweh also powers the structure and allows flight.
