Second Bonus Chapter~
---------------
“Thank god…” Harry sighed in relief as the spell he had created with the help of the AI chip was working.
It was one of the most important spells for his immediate future. After all, if he hadn’t figured it out, he would have cried tears of blood.
He would have lost so much money, weapons, the Ancestral Sword of House Stark ‘Ice’, books, nine different Devil Fruits, and a few random things he had looted, but most importantly, the Three Eldunari.
Having lost access to it without the system, he had worked hard to restore it. It was his main focus on the early journey.
Harry had figured out, with the help of the AI chip, that his inventory was actually a separate pocket of space created by the system. It still existed, anchored to his soul; he just had to create a spell allowing access to it.
The versatility of the ancient language and the analysis of the chip made it possible.
Creating a new pocket dimension would have been impossible at his current level; finding his inventory if it wasn’t anchored to his soul would have been really hard.
But in the end, through lucky circumstances, he managed it.
Right now he was a bit away from the caravan, out of their vision during the break. “Shit... What happened?”
In his hands were three darkened crystals in gray, green, and brown. Normally they were glowing lightly and could respond to him, but the Eldunari seemed dead.
[ Beep! Analysis Complete. The original pocket dimension, consisting of multiple isolated spaces, collapsed into one combined space during the extermination of the foreign parasitic existence. Concentrated radiation created by this collapse shattered the souls living in the Eldunari. ]
‘Is that why I can still access the energy inside?’ Harry asked, downcast.
He had actually formed a close friendship with these Eldunari; they were his teachers.
In fact, with his emotions no longer suppressed, he struggled with not starting to cry.
Vladr, Miremel, and Jura were dead because he took a stupid risk out of greed.
[ Beep! Negative. While the souls are shattered, all the pieces are still contained in the Eldunari. They are fully functional because they are not dead. The situation is more comparable to a coma, one they won’t wake up from without any outside help. ]
'Wait, you mean to tell me I can heal them? How? Can you find a method?’ Harry asked hopefully.
[ Beep! Affirmative. Estimated calculation time: infinity. Not enough information and computing power to find a Solution. ]
Sigh ‘Once again, I am too weak.’ Everything Truth had done to him was a humbling experience. Before that, he had been on a power trip, killing, farming, and looting to become more powerful.
He was certain that he had been under some kind of mental control from the system. But he wasn’t sure how it ended.
And then he wasn’t even sure that he would be able to return in time.
To further his own power, he had made contracts with his essence that would cost him his life if he broke them.
They hadn’t written what would happen if he unintentionally was unable to complete them, a mistake on his part that he wouldn’t repeat.
Still, this meant his life could end at any time, randomly.
While he had helped massively organize a resistance against Father's plan in Fullmetal Alchemist, Robin and Lust were also aware of his contracts; his contract about helping against Galbatorix was a different matter.
Thanks to Van Hohenheim's own plan, Father's ascension to Godhood would fail, and Lust and Robin, in combination with the Amestris Forces, who were far better organized and prepared than in the original, could handle him.
Galbatorix was stronger than Father in his regular form without having absorbed God. He had a massive amount of energy that he could combine with the versatility of the ancient language to do anything he had put his mind to.
And Harry hadn’t done anything like in Amestris helping the people with his knowledge.
While Robin had a good chance of assassinating him with her Devil Fruit Powers, it was still a risky move that he didn’t want to put on her.
The war against Galbatorix would come to its conclusion in the next two years, and Harry had no idea how the contract would react to that.
He simply didn’t expect he would need so long to return home if anything went wrong with his plan to use the Gate of Truth. He thought he should be able to return with his essence from anywhere.
But even with his best estimates, he would need at least 10 years.
“Wow, these are pretty jewels!" A girl's voice from behind him gushed. He didn’t hear her approach, being too distracted in his mind.
“Bessita. I didn’t hear you coming.” Harry replied, still holding the Eldunari in his hands, contemplating what he should do. He could simply wipe her mind, but he had no idea whether anyone would notice his use of magic.
While accompanying the caravan were a group of black-robed grand knights, there were also three rank-3 acolytes, most of whom were actually Magi.
But Harry knew better that no Magus would go on such a low-paying mission, escorting new students from a desolate region. Rather, it were some Acolytes on the stage before becoming an official magus that didn't have as much freedom as Magi.
Harry simply didn’t have enough information to be sure whether they could detect anything he did to her with magic.
His experiments with magic had to be done away from the caravan, and he was already worried whether an official magus would detect the particularities of his body. Like his Magical Core or his Elvish and Draconinc Bloodline.
Add a bit of magic to it, and he was in real danger. He already put concealment spells on himself, but if he were to use magic on Bessita, it would be too risky.
‘What are they feeding the girls here?’ Bessita was only 15, but her body was already well-developed and voluptuous. In addition, she had big, watery eyes. She had fair skin and wore red, tight-fitting clothes that accentuated her voluptuous curves. What was even harder to forget was this girl’s platinum hair and red eyes, which were like crimson jewels. Combined with her beautiful face, she possessed an exotic charm.
“These are some unique natural jewels my father gave me so I could use them to exchange for some more resources at my academy." Harry lied with a warm smile while putting the Eldunari in the pockets of his clothes.
This girl was the reason why the original Leylin had been beaten to death before a reincarnator possessed his body.
Unfortunately, the Original Leylin was now dead; the White Robed Acolytes had realized that he was in fact brain dead and left his corpse in the wilderness. Of course, not before looting him.
Harry had missed his chance to take that Ring, a magical artifact that would pay for the entrance fee of an academy, from the boy because he had passed out before he could take it.
And now he had to get enough magic crystals or something of similar value to pay for his tuition.
This troublesome girl was his best idea. Why?
Like any beauty, she had a crowd of Simps following her.
Leylin has already paid the price for trying to court the girl. And exactly that was what Harry was trying to provoke.
He wouldn’t go around and simply beat someone up and rob them. There was no need to get in trouble with their escorts. But if someone else was provoking him, this was a different case.
Luckily, the girl had fallen for Harry’s handsome elvish features. Which makes the whole plan a lot easier.
“Ah, that’s smart. My parents have me also.“ She said it with a beautiful smile before being interrupted by the voice of a boy.
"Bessita, there you are.” Said the Head Simp, glaring at Harry, while Bessita had her back turned towards him.
A red-headed muscular boy is called Ourin Dolan. The guy who had actually killed the original Leylin with a beating.
Usually he is in the company of some other Simps for Bessita. They were the unfortunate targets Harry had chosen—the first antagonists of the original story—who got beaten after the protagnostics had trained for just a few days and even were unarmed!
There was only one description fitting for them: Cannon Fodder.
Annoyance flashed over Bessita’s face before she turned around. “Ourin, is there anything you need? I just had a nice chat with Harry.”
“Sorry to interrupt you, Bessita. I just noticed you weren’t in the camp anymore. We were about to pack and continue.” Ourin explained that he was apologetic, but behind his eyes, Harry noticed the anger directed at him.
“Then let’s go back.” Bessita nodded towards Harry, who just smiled amused and walked beside Bessita, ignoring Ourin.
This definitely annoyed the SIMP even further. Just what Harry wanted, ‘Soon.’
