Comic Report #112.3 - Set The Timer (Patreon)

Here it is, the textless version of the finished page!  This one was a bit of a pain to get done, I spent a whole day just hacking away at those first two panels trying to get all the details right.  I'll be happy to move on to the next scene, this office has too many clues in it!!  But anyways, a little on this page before I move on to lettering it.

I ended up really liking how the light room/dark room effect panned out.  With the lighter contrast allowing Nate Mulgrave to kinda be cast in darkness easier, it also meant the contrast of separating Lizzie and Alice out from that room has them kinda "in the dark" relatively speaking, which given their eavesdropping puts a neat angle on how they are shedding light on their investigation.  The contrast worked out real well so I'm happy with it.

I think I mentioned about how I want to handle the dialogue on this page but that'll be a nice treat for when it goes up in a couple hours.  I'm gonna go get to that, because I can expect the thing I'm planning on doing being kind of annoying to pull off.  Thanks for sticking with me!  I'll have more fun stuff to share on Friday.  Until then, have a good week!
