I wanted to push through to the end and just get this thing done and out before I switched to anything else, so without further ado here's the textless version of the page before I put words on it and upload it to the site.

Two things to mention: the first is I'm pretty proud of the last panel. I don't really use perspective grids because I don't like rigid perspective lines, I like to bend and roll my perspective to both fit into panels and give the eye a sense of movement as it slides from point to point in a panel.  The reader is never going to look at the entire panel all at once (there's actually a meme about this involving seeing twelve dots in a rectangle, the same principle applies in comics), they focus in one area at a time and their eye moves from place to place, so when I bend perspective it's like the camera is rolling with their focus.  In the last panel I have a distorted perspective to both see around the corner Monday is turning down and to see down the straight path the whole group just came down, to give a sense of motion and make the most of the rectangle of space I have.  If the eye focuses on Monday they see him near the corner of a building; if they look to the left they see down the left side of the corner and if they look right they see down the right side of the corner.  If I did a straight perfect perspective the area on either side of Monday would mostly be brick wall, which wouldn't be as interesting, so I expanded it a bit.

The other thing to mention: for some reason I drew Lou's shotgun on backwards in his holster in one panel. I made a note to correct this but I kept putting it off and when I uploaded my showpiece version here I realized I forgot that I was remembering, so I'm gonna correct that real fast before I add text and call this one finished.

Thanks again for sticking with me, I'll be shifting back to game art for my next cycle and then I'll start the next comic page the week after that.

the way Monday splits the frame really helps sell the warped perspective!
