I'm just about ready to finish up the next page of my comic, we just need the lettering done and it'll be ready to go, so I thought I'd put up the letterless page for you guys to see beforehand! This is attempting my new method of painting the whole panel at once, and not just the foreground and then the background. Things felt easier for me, and with other obligations on hold I feel like I can get a second page done this month, so here's hoping! One thing I'm still really torn on is the light outline, I don't know if I want to keep it or phase it out. On the one hand it feels like it flattens out my characters, but on the other it really makes them pop. I'll probably add all the glow outline before posting and then toggle the layer on and off for about five minutes to see which way I like best.

Hooray, a new comic!!! I think your new method without the glowy outline looks really amazing. I compared it to the one you just posted with the outlines, and it definitely looks different; I think in a good way. As you mentioned, the outline makes the characters look like paper dolls in front of a background rather than 3-D objects in context. Although, I dont' know that I ever would have thought of it that way if you hadn't pointed it out. :) But since you *did* point it out, I totally prefer the non-outline style. Hope you don't mind the unasked-for opinion! I'm glad you're liking your new painting method, and super glad you were able to post a new update. Your comic is one of those few that I will always wait for and keep checking on, no matter how long it takes between updates. You're a wonderful storyteller and your art style is unique and engaging as heck. Thanks for all the awesome comics over the years!
