Librarian ASMR Script Preview (Patreon)

Hello, my darlings! I’m back with another script preview! This time for a librarian audio that features a bit of a love/hate relationship - my favorite trope! I will say the hate is more on the part of the librarian rather than the listener haha. I’m still not entirely sure how I feel about the progression of this one, but I’ve written and rewritten this like five times now, so I’m chalking it up to a mix of both regular frustration and sexual frustration on the speaker’s part 💀

In other news I spent last weekend at a con… can never allow myself to go to a con again because I definitely went over budget 🧍🏻‍♀️ May possibly make a post about my haul later haha

After this audio is posted, the next audio probably won’t come until after Christmas! I’m about to be pretty busy with my birthday this weekend, and then spending time with family for the holiday. But the following audio will be free for everyone on patreon :) It will involve a snow queen!

*grumbles as she gets up from her desk to march over to the most irritating woman in the world* You. Feet off the table. This is a public library, not the comfort of your home. And wipe that smirk off your face while you’re at it. *scoffs* Are you finally here, after so many weeks, for an actual scholastic purpose, or are you just here to be the usual thorn in my side? *pause* Of course. I suppose it would be too much to hope that you actually open a book without loudly complaining about the lack of pictures.

*sigh, less annoyed and more tired* I don’t have time to entertain your eccentricities today. I’ve got new arrivals to sort through in the back, so if you’re aching to bother anybody, one of the other librarians can attend to you. Please refrain from wreaking havoc in your wake. Now, if you’ll excuse me… *silence as she starts to walk away. However, the listener wanders after her*

*icy tone* Why are you following me? No, I am not helping you get a book down from the top shelf. You are literally taller than me. …You don’t want to get a cramp in your foot stretching-oh my god. *deep sigh* If you need this book so badly and can’t find it in you to help yourself, then, as stated, another librarian can assist you. Please kindly leave me be. I will not repeat myself.

*at this point the listener starts to loudly protest* Wha- Shh! I am not being purposefully unhelpful, would you lower your voice. *irritated hiss* You are disturbing our ACTUAL patrons. Stop, stop, just - ugh, you know what? I’m done. Come with me.

In here. Oh, all of a sudden you’re concerned about going where you don’t belong? It’s only a storage room. Just get in.

What is your problem? I have tried being polite, I have tried ignoring you, I have attempted every method I could think of to get you to quit being such a nuisance, and absolutely nothing seems to get through to you.

I don’t know how in the WORLD a heathen like you was raised, but a library is not the place for your antics. I have half a mind to ban you from further entry. *pause* Oh, trust me, the thought of banning you has crossed my mind multiple times before now. The only reason I’ve put up with your behavior for this long is because I’ve always felt that libraries should be places of accessibility for everyone.

Oh, you just wanted to get me to notice you? Well, you’ve achieved that. *laughs humorlessly* It’s almost like regular communication between two adults was an option. *sighs* You do know if you weren’t so infuriating, I would have probably been more receptive to your little advances. Oh, don’t gawk at me like that - you thought you were subtle? As subtle as a brick to the face, maybe.

My point is, I am… attracted to you as well, for some bizarre reason. Maybe it’s how easygoing you are, or that ridiculous lopsided smile of yours when you’re getting on my nerves. Half the time I don’t know whether I want to kiss you or slap you. *huffs* But I have no interest in pursuing anything with someone who doesn’t respect me or my feelings.

You want to try to make it up to me? I don’t see how. Unless you were to prove to me that you’re willing to turn over a new leaf. Rather than brazenly ignoring every word that comes out of my mouth and doing whatever you please. Do what I want, for a change. If you show me you’re capable of that, well… I would be willing to start over and give you another chance.
