August 2019 Patreon Dump (Patreon)

Okay there isn't a more awkward time to be on this Patreon lmao Sorry anyone who's joined within the last 2 weeks. I have A LOT going on and tbh it's kinda gonna mess with everything I have planned. I'll get into the details so you guys can get a read on things.

Con Anxiety!- If you guys missed it in the last post, I got accepted into my local cons Artist Alley!! Anime NYC. I'm so excited to finally do the last step on my totem pole of "professional artist shit". That being said, this is A LOT more work than what it appears on the surface. You pretty much have to buy the entire convention table setup and build it from scratch in addition to creating your merchandise. I'm not sweating that part tho, as I have a seasoned artists alley artist tabling with me. The merch making is the real ass kicker lol Talking with buds who do this stuff more than me and I have a bunch of places I can get stuff from that I'm working with at the moment. I can't show tooo much of my samples, but I can say for sure that I'll be selling

• Charms
• Buttons

There's some other stuff I have planned, but they aren't locked in yet. A lot of this merch shit is trial and error and I have a really tight window to get things ironed out before I can lock in bulk orders. So for the past 2-3 weeks, I've been in my own little bubble trying to get as much new (print quality) content as I can done. Can't say I'm even remotely close to as much content as I'd feel comfortable selling, but that's because my stupid ass is drawing everything at the same time instead of 1 pic at a time lol All in all, I'm hoping to have at the very minimum, 40% of my content created by the end of this month to have a good buffer for final production/shipping in late October-early November to make it in time for con on November 15th. 

Meet the OC's Event!...Kinda slow!- I know I've been super quiet on that, but I'm doing them!! Con merch is slowing down my production of other art stuff. I have a couple here that I've been doing in between print work, but I wanna drop these in pairs and at the moment I don't have a pair I would like to post in the same day. Work flow has kinda just been going through them in submission order. Also I wanna say, some of yall niggas don't know what the word "brief" means lmao It's a 4 panel comic, relax! Got some dudes making shit sound like a whole ass commission lol

Back to School Commissions!...Super slow!!- Okay so I usually open my sales around this time so this was set in stone, but holy shit did Con throw a monkey wrench in things lol I would have postponed comms or call off this batch so I could work on Con stuff, but I know a lot of you guys were looking forward to this batch and it's deals. So I'll just be frank, commissions progress is gonna be REALLY slow this batch, at least for this month specifically since this is the window I need the most focus on getting merch done. Right now, my model is 2 comms a week, and if I stream, I'll probs be working on those pictures specifically then logging off to get back to work asap. So there wont be a lot, if any, content next Patreon Dump. Please bear with me guys. If anyone feels uncomfortable about this, I can issue you a refund if you rather pull out than wait a bit.

Carole Comic was a Hit!- Holy shit, I was not expecting so much people to enjoy Carole's Corner.  Actually warms my heart hearing all the positive feedback for a story/porn premise so niche. With the money I made off her book, I was able to finally buy a new TV! And have money left over to invest in all this con merch shit. I really am grateful to everyone who supported! <3 The comic can be found bundled with this months Password. 

Orochimama a sensation!- So everyone on Twitter went NUTS for Orochimama. The funniest shit is that I had drawn her 2 months before I posted the first pic, so it's just this humorous delayed reaction. I'm glad people like her tho! Not often I get to indulge in my degeneracy, and there's a lot of fun to be had with the concept. Expect an Orochimama print, sticker, and maybe even a short comic in the future!

Overall just really good- I know I've just been saying con, con con this entire post, and yeah, it's driving me nuts lol But aside from the stress of finally getting this stuff done, I've been in a really good place this past month! I've been good financially, finally able to buy necessities/appliances/electronics I've been meaning to for ages, getting good work done, and my arts been getting a lot of good reception of late. I'm just super happy with things right now, and anyone who's followed me long enough will know I've been having a shit year lol Thanks to everyone who's been supporting me through the thick and thin, it really means a lot to me.
