An Explanation- Return of Site Updates (Patreon)

Now it has been QUITE some time since I last updated the main Patreon page. A lot of Patrons that aren't aware of the Private Discord Server would have been completely closed out of content for the past 6+ months. To the many Patrons who came and left without any content, and any crazy ones that still stuck around, I'm greatly sorry for this. The reason for my drought in site updates can be broken into 3 core aspects that I'll explain:

•  My Last Commissions List
•  Burnout/impromptu "hiatus" 
•  Yiffparty
  

Anyone here who's been keeping an eye on things, I've been working on a Commission List since...last year lol Now this normally isn't the case! I have rules that prevent me from staying on commissions longer than 2 months. However I had some special cases this batch. After completing about 75% of my commissions list by mid January, I hit a roadblock on a couple of the Patreon commissions. This was a combination of difficulty and them not having any particular deadlines since they were Patreon exclusive. Until I finished this batch, I refrained from doing any other activities that were deemed "big" so no (nsfw) comics, no image sets, no polls, essentially none of the good stuff. ADDITIONALLY this also meant I couldn't advertise the Patreon since it wasn't being updated. A punishment for both myself and my supporters.

I was determined to get these commissions done because dwelling on them would sink me financially and artistically. But man...life has a way of getting in the middle of things lol Personal life started to weed its way back into my art life and balancing the two became extremely complicated. It's a hard spot of "giving time for my personal matters" and "continuing my job as an artist", and to this day I'm still struggling in the middle. I've talked about it a couple times in the Discord, so some folks know what I'm talking about. My scheduled "break" that I really wanted to do after I finished commissions ended up happening before time and also not really? For most these months I've been laying low trying to still amass content to post every week. You might even have noticed the decline in art as I was drawing to fit a quota at best with no clear focus. Just trying to get out as much little things as I can before doing the super big bois. Been drained artistically, and personally for some time now, with my money kind of stagnated where I can't spend tooooo much each month(have some payments that have been catching up to me right about now) but I'm trying to pick up again now that those comms are finally done. 

Lastly, and not the first time I'm mentioning this here- yiffparty lol A big fear I've had when it comes to posting online, it's with that website. I really don't wanna get into it again, but it's just really hurtful to creators man. Your pledge doesn't just get you special content from artists, it helps PRODUCE more good stuff. A happy artist is a spicy artist. So no matter how small your donation it really helps. People who try to poke holes in such a pure system really hurt my soul. So I'm really hesitant in general when it comes to posting here, comm season or not. Will I stop posting here? Heck no! But I'm gonna discuss what to expect posted after this post today.

What To Expect:

After today, I'll be posting here regularly again. The contents will be slightly different however. NSFW content will be posted directly to the Patreon Discord: The Lighthouse. For anyone who is new here and hasn't been there yet, I can DM you an invite after confirming your pledge. If you already have a Discord account, you will automatically be added to the Patreon Discord chat upon pledging. At the end of each month, I will be posting a Dropbox or Google Drive link of all the content for each month compiled. The password will be posted to the Discord, but if you still don't have one, I can DM you it here. I greatly recommend joining the Discord/making a Discord, as you get content as soon as a stream ends, with any updates added and feedback options for edits.

SFW pictures will be posted here indefinitely. As soon as they're done or latest the following day. Comic projects/image sets will also get a private link that can be updated freely over time.

Polls will return! I haven't done polls here in ages. They're a great way to get content that I like and you guys like. Win win. As before, $5 tier patrons can throw ideas into the hat in the Discord(a-sweet-deal) or here. Anyone from as low as the $1 tier can vote on what idea gets done. Polls will be done on a weekly to biweekly basis. 

In conclusion(if you read this far) I'm just really sorry about how things went. I feel like a let down to my commissioners, my supporters, my friends, the people I hold dear. I know its nothing serious, but I just feel like a waste in a bunch of aspects lol I'll try to make up for things in the near future. Please look forward to the next few updates.
