Picked up a Razer Core X eGPU and an MSI RTX 4070 Super GPU for roughly $1100, thanks to your generous contributions. This should speed up the production times. Thank you!

Laptop: 2022 ROG Strix Scar G733zx_G733zs

i9-12900h 14 core

32GB memory

RTX 3080 Laptop GPU

eGPU: Razer Core X

RTX 4070 super

Test 1:

1920 X 1080 pixel size render on Laptop only --/-- Render on Laptop and eGPU:

test A- 16.2 seconds --/-- 12.6 seconds

test B - 47 seconds --/-- 24.1 seconds

Test 2. Practical: 

3000 frame animation. Individual frames render times are the same as test A above.

It would have taken me 13.5 hours to render.

It tool 10.5 hours to render.

I would say it that's not really worth the $1k price tag, however if I'm rendering a complex scene which is a real possibility, it could help a ton. I'm keeping it.
