I've been wrestling with this decision, but the reality is I’m limited on the animator drafts that are available to me, and I understand educated guesswork can be frowned upon.

How would you guys feel if I posted animator breakdowns based on educated guesswork? I would put these videos on a lower level, since they are about eyeballing different animators' styles.

There might be some cases where an animator breakdown will be partially complete, in cases where only a few credits will be noted in an animator breakdown video during instances where I am unable to ID certain animators.

Let me know what you all think! I appreciate the Patronage I have received these past few months, very much.

(Just to note, suggestions can be made, but I cannot guarantee they can be fulfilledsome animator styles can be very tricky for me.)

Be careful though, sometimes (especially in Art Davis' and Frank Tashlin's units in the late 40s) animators would go 'on loan' and add bit scenes without credit. It's easy to get those scenes confused with someone else (sometimes they don't even match the dopesheets, depending on who was free to complete the footage at the time).

Great point! That usually happened with the Lantz footage sheets, specifically on Shamus Culhane's cartoons.

I don’t mind educated guess breakdowns

I'd prefer that you stuck to breakdowns based on drafts, but if you did do "educated guesswork" breakdowns, would you be able to include explanations of how you detect the animators' work?
