For a sun-drenched slow burn, this movie is a LOT, handles a LOT, and there's simply a LOT to say. I haven't watched it in ages, but it's a fave of mine and I've yet to have a viewing where I don't write several essays in my head. So jazzed that I'll finally get to express the essays this time around, lol.

*Disclaimer: This movie comes with some controversial subject matter and there's a complicated situation (to say the least) surrounding one of its stars. If you're sensitive to age gaps (technically it's about 7 or 8 years but the casting makes it seem like more) or have decided not to watch anything with Armie Hammer, those are always respectable decisions and you give this one a pass.
