I guess it’s worth pointing out that the Fates didn’t lie to John at all, although I guess telling the truth in a form that is completely unhelpful to the person asking them questions is very much their whole deal. Loving these reactions, the best I’ve seen, so glad you are doing this show!

This ep was soooooooo dark, especially the end with all the gore. But it so highlights the importance of DREAMS to humanity; so good. I'll admit, my favorite ep of the season is the one coming up next (ep 6)! So excited for this reaction!

If you don't mind horror, the original chapter of this episode in the comic is definitely worth reading. I actually had to re-read it immediately, at 1am on a weekday... It was gory, brutal, and terrifying, yet sincere, tender, and deeply tragic. A specific combination I had rarely experienced in reading. I'm impressed by how they adapted the story without becoming pornographic in nature as so much visual media in this genre can get. Also, fuck Neil Gaiman. For this whole thing. Seriously.
