Season two of the donghua drops this year, and I could react to season one in time for season two to drop (whenever that time comes). Or I could wait however long it takes for Eternal Faith to air and start there, even though it may look quite a bit different under China's recommittal to censorship. 

I'd like to start with the donghua since we know we'll get something this year, but since I'm entirely ignorant to the story and its versions I should really ask you guys, the experts. <3

What do you think? Start with the donghua or wait for the drama?

I know I am very late at this but it will be fun if you can react to tgcf donghua... or you can livestream reading the novel just like what you do with mdzs...

I'm new here so I'm super late to this but I would start with the donghua since that follows the novel pretty closely. Eternal Faith may cut or add some scenes so it'd be something new anyway! Also the manhua follows the story pretty good too and it's very beautiful! were still not sure how much of it will be censored.
