Here's a thing I wish had been left in, because it's one of my favourite moments: when WWX and LWJ are at the shrine, there's a bit where Wei Ying is complaining about how Madam Yu used to make him kneel there in punishment for such a long time and so often - then he just shakes it off and says "My fault. My fault. My fault." It's so Wei Ying, and it always makes me cry.

idk if anyone commented it on youtube or anything, but just in case they didn't: the part where jc freaks out over them being in the ancestral shire is like a mild reaction based on what I've seen Chinese fans saying, and how what they (wangxian) did there is something that was considered really disrespectful, especially with lwj being there too, so that wasn't just jc being his angsty traumatized self, he was pretty much in the right with that part from what I've read, don't take my word for it tho

Yup, they made their first bow to the Lan ancestor and now they are completing their bows before the Jiangs. Too bad WWX didn't realize he was married to LWJ all those years.

Actually it's not WWX acknowledging the Jiangs that's pissed JC off, but that WWX won't acknowledge him. But what can he say to his shidi. JC wants to hear that he's sorry for not being there for him as his Twin Pride, but WWX literally couldn't do that. And for JC to see LWJ standing by WWX just makes it worse. There is something WWX is hiding and it was WWX's idea to cut himself off from the YummengJiang Sect. JC might have agreed because he was young and confused and his sister was marrying into the Jin Clan which put him in a bad place politically, but he always thought that WWX would return.
