So, anything exciting happen lately?

We are  finally on the other side of an all-stressful, all-consuming week in American history. Now that we're here, I feel like we can have a chat about livestreams and other perks I can provide to continually thank you for supporting my projects. A couple/few polls will follow this post during the week, all geared towards helping me figure out which stuff takes priority over what, and how you want that stuff to go. 

Livestreams:

Starting in January,* I can start holding two livestreams a month centered around chatting, Q&As, what I've reacted to recently, and any ship you guys feel like talking about. Unfortunately, I have yet to find (or hear about) a livestream service that both keeps/records the stream afterwards and will look the other way about streaming copyrighted content, meaning watch-along streams aren't happening. While I'd love to do that someday, some way, it's unavailable to me at the moment.

*Livestreams can't start sooner because it'll take a little time for me to test everything and figure out how it works. Plus, I get married mid-December and the run up to that will be busy, while afterwards I'll have the rest of the month off for my honeymoon. I wish streaming could start sooner, but I always try to make realistic promises to you instead of offering lofty dreams that exceed my particular grasp.

Voting: 

I've kinda trapped myself in corner for the next few months, as I'm in the middle of reacting to two long series and making those videos monopolizes all of my filming time. This means there's not much to vote on yet in terms of 'which reaction is next.' But I hope to make it up to you in the meantime by letting you in on my agenda for 2021, in addition to exclusive looks into the progress of special videos, as well as exclusive discussion about what I like/dislike so far as I watch things. For example: the Asian BL recs are progressing nicely and the resulting video review will be separated into two parts--one for the bulk of the recs, and one that takes extra time to focus on the most recced series. A separate post/discussion on that topic is coming this week (as is the 2021 agenda).

Side note for future reference: If you ever see a poll on Youtube and think 'wait I thought patrons were supposed to have exclusive voting access,' don't worry. Patrons will always have the last word in the polls. If I plan to put a poll on Youtube, it will only be to narrow down options before I give the final vote to you (and, in some cases, to Tier 2 patrons only). Of course, you can vote in the Youtube polls as well. 

Discord:

A few people have asked about setting up a Discord, and I'd love to make one for patrons only if enough people are interested. It would be the place for all before-the-video-drops discussion, sharing ideas for future videos, giving feedback on recent videos, etc etc. (It'd also be a nifty place for any premiers I do on Youtube in the future. A place to chat beforehand that wouldn't be as clogged as Youtube's chat window tends to get.)

When I said that you were getting in on the ground floor, I meant that in every way possible. It takes time to get everything up and running, especially when you're me and have to accommodate anxiety and ADD. I'm new at this, but I'm doing the best I can. The patience and encouragement I keep getting from you all is greatly, greatly appreciated.
