After consulting with the vet and weighing the options, the consensus about the seizures was to hold off on the neurologist/seizure medication but keep an eye on him. Evidently, even pets with regular seizures don't get on meds unless episodes are frequent enough to warrant it. Until that happens, we get to keep a seizure diary and make sure he comes out of it okay. He hasn't had another one yet (thankfully) and he seems to be doing okay, so we're hopeful. <3

We've got the rest your donations tucked away for any future vet services, which is an incredible thing to say as a household that can't afford savings. We are forever grateful for your generosity, and the security that comes with knowing we won't necessarily have to fly into a financial panic the next time something happens is flat out invaluable (especially for two people who have plenty of anxiety by way of neurodivergence).

Thank you thank you thank you <333

Yay!! Let’s hope for no more seizures or at least infrequent ones. When my dog would have them, I’d sit with her and tell her I was there so that she knew and coming out of it, she’d always want some extra lovies. Just for reference and something to keep in mind. ❤️

I'm sorry everything has been so difficult. I hope Pretty Boy feels better soon. I hope you have all good things going forward.
