Taxes (Patreon)

Hey gang! I'm popping in to let you know about the coming changes to Patreon in regards to taxes and the effect it'll have on your patronage. 

Essentially, they're adding tax to whichever tier you choose and the tax rate can fall anywhere between 4% to 11% if you're in the US and are living in select states. For the Muscle Man tier ($5) that could be between 20 cents and 55 cents, just as an example. There are also benefits that are not taxable in most areas. 

To be as transparent as possible, the benefits listed for the $3 Nasty Lad and $5 Muscle Man tiers are General Support, Digital Downloads, and Early Access. The $1 tier is General Support only.  I highly encourage you all to check out this page for more specific information about this change that will take effect on July 1st.

I do not necessarily like how Patreon is leaving it to independent creators to inform their audience of this change but that's just how it is lol.
