OoT Link & life update (Patreon)

Hey, everyone. I hope you're all doing well!

I've mentioned this on my twitter, but not here yet. Im on a semi-hiatus right now. I don't want to get too detailed because it just sucks to talk and think about, but my family and I had two major losses in the span of a week. We lost our sweet dog Momo on the last day of April. It was pretty sudden. An aggressive cancer that took her before I was able to go home and see her one last time. Ive had a difficult time grappling with it because I live so far away. Its like my mind cant totally accept it because Im not at my family's house, dealing with it first-hand like they are. I go home at the end of May for a wedding though, and Im really dreading how hard it's going to hit me when I walk up to our front door and dont see her face peaking out the window. She was a very strange and wonderful dog that gave us so many years of unconditional love.

Not even a week later, my husband and I lost our oldest rat, Dash. Another sudden passing that is honestly too hard to really talk about. She was so, so, so sweet.

 These two losses in such close succession have really taken their toll on me, and Im mostly coping by playing a LOT of video games. I beat Majora's Mask for the first time last week (totally loved it. Will absolutely be revisiting that and Ocarina at some point again), and am now replaying Wind Waker. Ive also started EarthBound for the first time, which I am also very much enjoying. Also been going back to FFX a lot, as that is my favorite/comfort game.

I apologize if this was kind of a lot, but I wanted to tell you all what was going on. Im trying to take things one day at a time, but Ive generally been unmotivated and creatively drained. This was the first thing in a week and a half that I managed to draw.

I'll keep you all updated as I can, and I'll post anything I manage to draw here as well.
