early look at my part in a MAP + Animation process! (Patreon)

i am participating in a Hollow Knight MAP hosted by Stellamarius to celebrate the games 5th anniversary! woohoo!
the full video with everyone's parts will be uploaded on february 24, but here's my part already for your viewing pleasure of a whole 10 seconds (lol). hope you like it!!

i am quite happy with the process video and would like to make it public in a few days. but until then, here you go! feel free to comment "first". also, since i don't put patron names in videos, they're in the description. feel free to let me know if you don't want to be there/want to go by a different name!

originally I was going to try and do traditional commissions this month after I came back from my trip but wouldn't you know it, while I was still there, i was invited to participate in a hollow knight multi animator project! i've never been in one before, and i've always wanted to give it a shot, plus it would be a good way to de-rust and do an easy simple animation that totally won't take way too much effort.

not that much to say about this one that isn't shown in my little process video (that i spent several hours putting together!)

was pretty fun (at times), was pretty annoying (at times), everything you'd want in an animation and more. i spent maybe the last 10 days or so animating every day (?) and now i miss doing other things. after i'm done writing this post i think i'm going to lie down and maybe play some video games ! ! 

here's a sketch i made for some pose ideas while i was still abroad! ft. a kirby. 

an attempt at a 'warmup' drawing before animating. i don't really do warmups so i have no idea what you're supposed to do. i had fun though! so that's good i think.
