shade lord animation WIPs/step by step process video (Patreon)

hey-o! here's a compilation of the process of the shade lord video. most of it is silent because i would not want to subject you to re-listening to the same meme audio over and over again as i had to do for several months. i tried to cut out the parts where nothing new happens, so you wouldn't have to watch 4 seconds of nothing happening every single time. it may not be the best due to my animation "process" which is kind of all over the place, but i hope it's nice to see anyway!!!

i started this animation all the way back in january 2020 when i first beat the pantheon of hallownest! it was my little victory video and something to let out all the HATRED i had for the absolute radiance. (seriously, she sucks.)

it started off as just a little clip of the shade lord squeezing her, then i added slapping, then i thought "hey, well, if i made this a little bit longer it could be a whole Thing!" and so i kept adding, being intimidated by how much i'm adding, and finishing what i started whenever i could find the time. 

this animation was started about year and a half ago, but it didn't actually take that long - i was just in my 11th-12th grade and didn't have a lot of time, energy or motivation to work on this consistently, and sometimes it would stay untouched for a few months. it's embarrassing to admit it took me so long but i'm really glad it's done! and i hope you guys like it too.

i'd love to make more animations now that i'm done with school, but life wants me to get something called a "job"? so i'm not making any promises in regards to new animations anytime soon.
