The Hobbit An Unexpected Journey Reaction

Perfect timing for being stuck indoors during a snow storm!

It was a good reaction, fair and honest. I noticed you didn't get the extended version here, which isn't so important. The other two have some more interesting added footage, imo. You should know this was based on a very short book written for kids by comparison to LOTR. Btw, "Riddles in the Dark" was very close to the original story. I think it's useful to realize this had mountains of problems in production and was blown up with filler to make 3 films. Some day for giggles you could check out a fan edited version available through YouTube. https://youtu.be/TAqNeZ5Zhd4?si=AHypA3kJeeNSAJuw

Good reaction guys! Yea these movies are for sure way more goofy than the original trilogy, The Hobbit is a book that was originally meant for children, so that's why it's so diffrent and silly. My biggest turnoff for me though is probably the CGI aswell. The other movies are still fun though (Just nowhere near LOTR haha)! :) Excited for the reactions!

For some reason I never watched any of the Hobbit movies. I Look forward to checking them out.

That's what I figured. You were misled. But, as said, it was the least important one to see, mostly naked dwarves, lol. The runtime of the extended second film is 3hrs 06min.

A YouTuber: (sidhwen m) has a playlist of the first film's extended scenes, minus the naked dwarves, if you're interested. I guess naked dwarves are too much for YouTube, lol.

The next two are better

Balin the white haired dwarf is the dwarf king who was buried in that tomb during the fight in the mines of moria in fellowship of the ring

I do prefer this to the next 2 because I have read the book and because it is a children’s book, this movie has that goofy lighthearted feel to it. It’s not as serious as Lord of the rings. I do think you two may like the last one the most.

when will you watch next one?
