Episode 11 Update - 10/26/23 (Patreon)

Lots of progress.  I think we're on track to finish by early 2024.  ...I think.

I haven't really touched Scenes A and B, but A is practically done, and B needs a few more days of attention.  They're in the best shape of all, and I', happy with everything done on them.

Scene C is coming along really well.  I've been animating it a lot on stream.  I'd been hoping to share with you guys the VODs of the streams where I animate them, and still do.  But I haven't figured out the best way to put them up.  I plan on finishing Scene C all the way through on Monday streams.

Scene D is so close to finish.  I've been working a lot with another animator on it, and it seems that all the hard parts are done.  So much progress happening on it.  It's in super good shape, and now I need to put it all together myself and make the necessary adjustments to finish it off.

Scene F is now in way better shape.  The animator I'd hired has now finished his bit, and it's up to me to make the necessary adjustments to get it where I want it.  I have my hands full with other scenes, though, so it's kind of being bottlenecked by me.

I've been working extensively with someone else on Scene X.  It's now over halfway done.  IT's in really, really good hands and I feel fortunate to have found the right person to work on it.  I think you'll all be pleased with how the sequence goes down.

At this point, all scenes are more finished than not.  Everything is falling into place.  A couple more months of animation work, and I can start to move to post-production.  Very exciting.

I really wanted to update you guys on this earlier, but I was very disappointed that I couldn't make a video for the 10 year anniversary of Starter Squad.  Additionally, the 2 year mark of Ep10 just recently passed, and it kills me that I haven't uploaded anything at all.

At the end of September, I had this idea for a Starter Squad Halloween video, and I just sort of ran with it.  As a result, I took a god chunk of time this month making a Halloween video that works within the Starter Squad canon.  I'm finishing it up right now and it should be ready to release on Halloween.  It's just over 2 minutes long.  I hope you enjoy it.  Here are some screenshots of the video in progress:
