Okay. The script is now complete complete. 100%. I am satisfied with it.
This is going to be one hell of an episode. The final page count is 46 pages. Episode 11 will undoubtedly be the longest episode thus far.
I'm now deep into the recording sessions. Four characters are now completely voiced and I have two more sessions scheduled in the immediate future. After that, I have six more characters that I need taken care of and I'm making sure I make adequate time to do a full voice session for each. Every single actor for all the new characters that I'd asked to join the project has agreed enthusiastically. I am happy to announce that I was able to cast every single voice with exactly who I imagined voicing it. I feel very lucky to have this opportunity and am determined to make the most of it.
I also now have enough materials to create the "Two Episodes Left" teaser. I'm thinking we'll see that release in May. I'll post that animation to Patreon a week or so in advance of everyone else. Animating that will be a great warm-up for me.
The entire episode can be broken down into six scenes. Here is the breakdown of the scene length:
SCENE A - 16%
Scene A looks easy on paper, but it tackles a few things I haven't actually done before, so I'm not sure.
SCENE B - 11%
SCENE C - 15%
Scenes B and C are going to be very easy for me. Small, uncomplicated, and doable.
SCENE D - 35%
Scene D is very long, but very simple and straightforward in what it actually contains. Given my experience at this point, I don't think it should be a problem for me.
SCENE F - 21%
Scene F, once again, is going to be the most difficult thing. It's not the longest, but it's quite complex, and getting the animation right on it is going to be challenging. I feel like a bulk of the animation work and troubleshooting is going to be on this scene. A LOT happens here.
SCENE X - 2%
Scene X is completely different than everything else, and I'll likely be working with others and hiring out in order to accomplish exactly what I'm going for with it.
Additionally, of the four characters I was working on last update, two are done, and the other two are close to completion.
This is all I have for now. I hope to have all the assets ready by the time I have everyone voiced, and we can start really plowing ahead. We are now officially past the pre-production stage, and true production has begun. I am very excited and a little scared. Thank you, once again, for your generous support.
