Hello friends.  Let me start off by saying how grateful I am that these episodes are not being produced on a strict schedule.  Believe me when I tell you that I'm taking the time I'm being given to do this right.  This past week, I have been able to get a really good look at my sequences, frame by frame a lot of them out, and get them looking to be at a level of quality that is more faithful to the original vision of the episode.   The majority of this week has been spent honing in on the "SMASH" section - the most appealing part of the whole episode, and getting it to look like the scenes I had envisioned many, many months ago.  This section will be getting it's own separate, slightly edited upload after the Episode is released.  You'll see why.  Anyway, here is my checklist:

In getting this checklist done, I actually discovered way way more things that needed to be tweaked, so I can barely say that this qualifies as a signifier of what I've done.  But more importantly, I have two sections left of Act 2 and it's complete.  I really wanted to update as soon as Act 2 was finished, but some of these check marks really open up a can of worms.

Act 1 was barely an issue.  Act 3, similarly, has little to correct, other than "Hive motion!" which could take a full day or two.  If I were to guess, I'd say that this next week will be my last week working on the character animation and I can move on to effects.  It's really weird to think that all the actual of the animation of the episode is so close to being done.

I've done a good amount of research on what some of these effects are going to entail, and while it no longer "scares me" like it used to, it's still going to be a daunting task.  Thanks for your continued support!
