Episode 9 Progress - 11/04/18 (Patreon)

This is the first half of the "Legend" that comprises the opening of the episode.  I hired/directed artist Robin French to make the illustrations.  The whole legend is finished, sound and all, but you'll have to wait for the episode to see the second half.  As you can see above (if you've watched it already) a lot of the artwork was cropped and cut for the sake of cinematography.  I'll be releasing all the full resolution images when the episode releases.

I also implemented those channel changes I'd mentioned in a previous update.  I've decided not to change the Patreon page as much as I'd previously planned, as it would be a waste of time I could be dedicating to the episode.  But I do have a new logo, so that's pretty neat!

Balancing Starter Squad with my Animation Mentor workload has been very, very difficult lately.  But I am managing to steadily progress.  More importantly, I've just announced to everyone on the channel that I will release the episode in February.  And nothing motivates me more than a deadline.  This is really what I need to get the episode finished.  I only finished the last two episodes because of the pressing deadline of Christmas and Halloween. I've planned the Episode 9 release around my Animation Mentor schedule (because I graduate in December) so I can spend January and February on Starter Squad and nothing else.  So, unless something major goes wrong, I will be finishing this in February.  Stay tuned!
